Not much time today for mini work, but this is what I got accomplished so far today. After a couple of hours of hand scraping and peeling I managed to get most of the wallpaper, varnish, and glue off my walls.

Well I just had myself a Multi Max ball today. My soap operas were preempted by the U.S. Open, so that meant extra mini time. Since I couldn’t be “Young and Restless” or “Bold and Beautiful”, today I went at it. I am absolutely loving this tool. Before now I had considered my Dremel to be my best power tool purchase, but its big brother has just taken over first place. The sanding pads attach to the oscillator by means of a “hook and loop” surface, making changing sanding pads easy as pie.

I sanded my little heart out today and managed not just to rid myself of glue and wallpaper on the three big outside walls and the bay windows, but to take the house completely apart. Not a bad day’s work.

Since I’ve been at it for about 6 hours and got quite a lot accomplished today I think I’ll call it a night, get myself de-sawdusted and clean up my area for tomorrow when the real tough stuff starts, removing all the glue and wallpaper from the inside walls.
