Another pink Tennyson
Where have I been? Quilting. Had a request from a family member to make another pink Tennyson; found this old Whitney Tennyson kit on eBay-- I guess it was back in April-- figured today was a good day to break er open and see what we have here. Got the big structural pieces sanded and together for a dry fit.
Those 1st floor right front walls' top tabs will need a bit of sanding down so that the 2nd floor right front walls will sit nicely on them, but I have to say, I have definitely seen much worse bay gaps. Not bad.
Ed is "helping" the primer dry. (And looking for something to chew.) Got some yardsticks to affix to the underside of the 1st floor to give some height, as I did with the last Tennyson.
Hubby took my previous pot of pink paint (Valspar interior latex satin "Pristine Petal") to Lowe's and they did a tint match. Off to Hobby Lobby tomorrow to get some papers-- and fresh paints because just about all of my acrylics have hardened up on me. Papering and window-works are next.
