today I spent about 3 hours punching sanding and painting 2 coats of paint on all the trim Peices...well ok not ALL of them but I made a huge dent in the job.

but before I did all that boring work I took the time and did something fun which was to build the porch

of course it took a little over an hour to punch sand and paint all the bits which make up the porch

the porch floor and step had wonderful grain showing so that had to be stained. I just couldnt make myself

paint over it.

here is the bulk of the trim....the inside trim is to be stained which I will do tonight.

and after dying the kids hair I went back to the now dry trim peices and applied them to my house

now I ask you....at this point can you tell where I have made things interresting for myself down the road?

the windows are in on the front :o

"sooo??" you say. well now when Im wall papering the inside I will be papering over the windows

better go take them out....always doing things the "nutti" way. :lol:
