My list of dollhouses and store kits that I have

Attention: 1/22/09. Please do not contact me to request to buy any of my kits. I have had several inquiries to purchase different houses and I do not plan on responding to anymore inquiries. Sorry. If I sell any more kits in the future, I would list them on a reliable (for both parties) media such as ebay so as to decrease potential problems that can come up in a sale. I do not intend to sell anymore at this time. I will not respond to anymore requests for copies of instructions/schematics eithe

Complete Glencroft interior

I just need to find some doorknobs that i like, add curtains and then decorate! I got a start on the shingles, but i still need to shingle most of the roof. I also need to install a little bit of exterior trim and this house will be done! Some of the photos are pre-polyurethane. I love the look after the polyurethane has been applied, it brings out the lovely color of the stain.I'm loving how this house has turned out. Still disappointed with the interior stonework tho. I was dumb

Bellingham farmhouse

January 6th 2007. I had a bite by the building bug again this morning. The Bellingham was practically screaming to get out of it's box....so I complied with its wishes. I built most of it today. I had some troubles with the roof on the right side of the house. I tried multiple ways to fix it. In the end, i will just add some wood to fill in the gap at the peak and call it a day. Except for this problem, the house was great to build! I haven't permanently attatched the f

Glencroft photos

Some photos of the basic shell. doesn't look like much right now, but i do really like this house kit in reverse! I haven't glued on the back roof panel or the side panel by the stairs, they are just there so i can get an idea of how things look.

almost finished storybook

1/12/08 Well, i think i'm now almost finished. I need to get the roof completed. I need to glue on the front door as well. this is my witch/wizard shop. I don't have alot of supplies for it yet. I do have more stuff in the basement but wasnt' up to getting it out just to take photos. Brickwork obviously isn't my thing. Also the colors are darker than the IRL but i was in a dark room with a flash. Overall the dollhouse looks better in person as well, but at

Willowcrest construction

lots of progress on the willowcrest since last night. i still need to finish the 3rd floor stuff before i start fine tuning the opening i cut for the second floor staircase, it still needs some work but at least it's mostly done. Next will be priming, then i'll install the staircase...i didn't want to put it in place for photos because i think i'm going to have to coax it a bit to go into it's place and i want to get wallpaper hung first. what a shame you can't really see that upper hall. i love

New Bespaq photos

Okay so i re-took all the photos of my bespaq/hansson/JBM/jiayi etc furniture...i wanted to have wallpaper in the background so i could get an idea of what it could possibly look like in a house..... Since i took the last photos i found a few of my missing items...so i'll have some new photos to share. i did buy some new bespaq a couple of weeks back and it has arrived! so new photos of those items as well. still waiting for other pieces to arrive and when they do i'll add photos. different bathroom layouts

I tried the bathroom set in different positions. I like them all but I really like the bathtub against the back wall for several reasons, the biggest reason is that I want to be able to see the design ....so although i'm sure i wouldn't want to walk into a real life bathroom and have the toilet right when i look into the doorway, it is okay with me for this house So that is how it will be, toilet in front of the open door, bathtub against the back wall. I'll have a small shelf unit or somethin

Storybook cottage

This will be a witch/wizard shop of some kind. I don't have alot of witch/wizard supplies at this point...so i don't want to set my mind on something and not be able to find the supplies that i want....so...i'll leave things open at the moment. I will paint the interior and probably age it...i want to create a dark mystical place...so lots of dark stained wood (hey no surprise there since all my projects seem to develpe dark stained wood  )...The attic will have wide wood plan

Completed Glencroft!!!!!!!!!!

I finished the Glencroft today. I absolutely love this house and can't wait to build another. This house has been a pleasure from start to finish. I'm pleased with the results. I'll add more color variation with my next Glencroft, but this house turned out exactly as i imagined and dreamed of how it should look when i finished. Now...where to display it is the next question! It will probably sit down in the family room with the Chantilly, which is also completed and waiting for a place to be dis

Completed Glencroft interior pic's

I polyurethaned the interior and exterior wood and wood floors. Looks great in person! I just need to do the roof and the house is complete! hmmmm, i just realized i forgot to take a picuture of the front of the house! it actually does look different cuz adding the polyurethane darkened the trimwork like i had hoped! when i get the roof on, i'll take more exterior shots!

More Glencroft photos!

I'm adding a bunch of photos, if some of the photos look the same, sorry, it's just different angles give it a different look, and also, i added other trim pieces and the window box and such after i took the first round of pictures. I'm also including one photo at the end of the Harrison, what stage it's in so far. I hope to get one or two coats of paint on the ceiling today, so that later this week I can wallpaper! Today, the plans for my Glencroft....well i think i did all of the

Beacon Hill pictures

Well the interior so so close to completion!!! I need a few more pieces of trim for the dining room and around the staircases...the window installed in the kitchen...still think i may try to make it out of spare parts...the one i made of foamcore board just isn't quite right. And i need to polyurethane everything. I like doing the before and after photos when i polyurethane, i love the transformation the wood undergoes. Plus the floor is so shiny and causes glare after you polyureth

progress on the storybook

January 6th....Well, got the paperclay done yesterday! Now that it's done, i can see how i should have added a couple of more timbers here and there. there are some timbers that seem to just float. ah well. overall i like the way it's looking. I think next time i'll do the brickwork differently as well, but it doesn't look horrible so i'm okay with how it looks now...i just know i'll do it better next time! after it dries, i'll spend thursday dirty washing it and doing the brickwor

new chantilly photos. house almost completed

okay, i'm almost done!!!!!!!!! I just need the roof put on (waiting the $ to buy more paperclay) and i need beams for the ceilings, otherwise this house is done (oh i'll be putting moss on the exterior but this will wait until i landscape the house). This has been a wonderful house to build! Of course there are things i wish i could improve but...like the spackle in the attic along the joints. I forgot to cut trim to stain and glue into place to hide these

queen anne progress

well, i have most of the shell completed, just need to do the two alcoves on the right side of the house, the tower roof and reglue a couple of roof components. i ran out of glue and interest. lol. i messed up big time after making alot of progress today and had to redo a good portion of the house....i had placed the second floor on the 3rd floor and the 3rd floor on the second floor. it wasn't looking right and although it looked like of good that way, it messed everything up so I had to fix it

Glencroft progress

Yay, i finished the paperclay today! Just need to let it dry then do the wash! I have two rooms with wood flooring installed now! i still need to finish a side second floor roof panel (lost the original one so i made a new one today). I finished sanding all the door/window trim etc and stained it all today. Next on the list is to put the ceiling beams in! Then do the exterior wash/finish. After that i can install the flooring in the living room and kitchen and finish the stairway. Then all inter

primrose kitchen bash

November 24th. I spent the afternoon and evening working on the primrose kitchen bash. Looks great, I just need to do some tweaking when i put it together. All the exterior architectural stuff will come together after i get the main body of the house put together. Until then, I'll wait to put the additional completely together, i don't want to find out after i glue it that it needs some fine tuning  I've got a couple of ideas for the exterior of the addition, but i want to get the ma

New Glencroft pictures

Yay, making progress on the Glencroft! Today I got the beams installed, the carpet runner in place and the last section of wall (by the stairs) in place. THings left to do: patch openings around beams, retouch up that interior paint. Exterior texture and a coat of paint. Installation of exterior trim. Paperclay exterior fireplace, then back to the interior to install the flooring, then placing all interior trim. Should be done by then! It's starting to come together no

more photos

I'm including some photos from this week. I still need to finish siding the tower and the little hard area by the roof, then the siding will be completed! I got impatient to see how it would look so i applied one coat of paint to the front of the house. i think it will need another 3 coats before i get the look i want (i applied 3 coats to the area under the porch and it still could use one more). I still need to finish the porch, sand the porch roof/balcony as the joints are uneven, apply a coa

beacon hill siding

I managed to get more of the siding done today, it's more than halfway completed, i'll finish the siding up sometime this week. I took a bunch of pictures, but i'm going to go watch a movie now, so i'll post the pictures tomorrow. I love this house. I'd actually like to build it again someday. I love the colors...burgundy and a creamy color okay, here's a few pictures i'll post a bunch more tomorrow

trimwork

I spent some time today sanding all the exterior trimwork (corner pieces and roof trimpieces)...after doing all that, i glued all the roof trim pieces in place and started on the two bay windows. I've decided that i'm going to stucco the house. I'm not up for all of the siding that needs to go on this house. I'd have to sand each piece and i'm just not up to fighting the warping of the strips. So i think it will look nice in stucco. I don't see that very often on this house so it will be another

Finally some progress on the Beacon Hill!

February 18th. Well, my poor neglected Beacon Hill...I have been wanting to get to this house! I cleared up my mess and dusted her off....knocked off the cobwebs and dug in yesterday! I spent most of the day working on this house. I kinda took my time, so i wish i'd accomplished more, but i'm pretty happy with what i did accomplish! The foundation is completed finally! I had to make new foundation pieces for the bashed extension, and i beefed up the existing foundation a little. see

holes holes everywhere, their in my house, their..

January 23rd 2007. Yay! Today Andrew used his new Dremel and cut me some holes! That is two whole houses that I needed stuff done on! The first, the Harrison: since I turned the staircases around I needed new holes cut....(oops I just barely in this moment realized we need to do the 3rd floor as well  ) oooppps...maybe i'll wait another day for that one. ....anyway, we cut the hole longer and i cut out a little filler piece to fill in the gap a little towards the back of the
