This is the inside of The Heritage.! It took alot of work to get all the gaps filled in, but that is a Dura-Craft thing. I really enjoyed rehabbing this house. When I got it, it was about 1/2 built, and I took it apart so I could redo the flooring and all the gaps. I ended up just fining in the gaps, but I redid the flooring. The downstairs wall coverings were left alone.

I am starting on Victorias Farmhouse now. It has been sitting downstairs waiting for me. Now I am ready and it is not cooperating.! I cannot figure out the layout of the upstairs. I dont like how it is laid out.
Then I was dryfitting the windows and I cant seem to find any interior trim for them.
and then the wallpaper is not working with me either.!
I will be putting the wallpaper onto cardstock so that I can install electric later.!

I think I have the interior Layout figured for the Victorias Farmhouse. !
There will be a doorway to the back bedroom.
on the left side with the big window & Door to the porch will be the M. Bedroom.
On the right side, the room with the 2 windows in the front of the house will be the nursery. and the room with no windows across from the M. bedroom door will be the bathroom.
About a year or so ago a Friend of mine purchased a Sweetheart cottage for her Daughter. She had it sent to me so I could build it for her.! Saturday I met up with them, they live about an hour or so away. Her Daughter was thrilled with the house, and I was beyond myself when she opened the van door and pulled out this !!!
I think I may have screwed up my Blog, I was hoping to be able to put all the info for a particlular house into a blog for that house only. ... I just cant seem to figure that out.

I have been working on it off & on since it was given to me in August 2006. Duracraft houses seem to have alot of problems fitting together correctly, and this house had all the symptoms of a Duracraft house.!
I started really working hard on it and finally finished it other than the shingles this week.!
