  1. I saw that today - very tempting - its such a large house though ugh I'm truly running out of space. But right below that listing was an ad for a reasonable Emerson Row NIB, someone should grab it, it's a BuyItNow not an auction https://www.ebay.com/itm/266013364909?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D243419%26meid%3D5e3f3bb0d64d4fe3b0e52f2abfb04e46%26pid%3D101195%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D325441467861%26itm%3D266013364909%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv11WebTrimmedV3MskuWithRevOptLambda90KnnRecallV1%26brand%3DGreenleaf&_trksid=p2047675.c101195.m1851&amdata=cksum%3A2660133649095e3f3bb0d64d4fe3b0e52f2abfb04e46|enc%3AAQAHAAABIPZqctS1aW2Gn1fMafrLrPa7%2BqLD2Pgo5GTgCDTJgIpBMBHaBHcFvdVGNBWeIytK8U7x8RargP9Bv5VZgW5ZIFNqKcyMBDjW54sfGUpQ%2F2L279JVmRBaHXlj%2FPUdlCVhLpXPP3PMi0yZbOayYEKaqRw%2FCJA2pK371BinCyX%2BmvWrzCOJpN7OBPTR8BrpfUHxcIM%2Bx6N8PcZxpM8dlawpjbkZ23xwYgWdVMNu4EkjBNvX41MpDHRvoiKnmYUiqDPSjlIukPgtlNh5dLNn2YYHC7ta4Inw%2Bfdv9r39dSTPt4vBnIc9EC7V4EY0pwg61L8lduxs21X%2BrQCZBmX%2Bo5AVnmarfmEg0z6bvPfZv2vCVGMNaMIOkcSIDXtUMv3pZ%2BotyQ%3D%3D|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2047675
  2. I just bought this house as well - already built though. It's beautiful, and it's HUGE! Here are the instructions: Federal Victorian 174.pdf (dollhouseworkshop.net)
  3. Best wishes Sue on your build! Hope all the parts are there for you. Let me know if you have any problems opening the attachments I sent you. General comment: I have the Instructions and the Schematics in 2 separate PDF files if anybody else comes to this thread and needs them just let me know. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll email them to you (they can't be sent through PM on here).
  4. I've seen similar bashes. Most the RGT kits are compatible with each other, and there are several styles of wing additions that can be added on too, to make mega-mansions. I own a Petite Dreams Victorian, which is identical to the Alison Jr except it's built in reverse. I had an idea to bash it side by side with an Alison Jr which would have been awesome because they mirror each other - I didn't do it though because it would have been too big for me. But If you can find one of those (Discontinued but I see them on eBay for sale and also resales of built ones) the centers towers would look awesome together.
  5. What a great husband! Glad you're able to slowly get to replace them all, even though they're not original they're still special. I have a Newberg still in the box, I will get to it eventually, I ended up getting mine on eBay too. It's a pretty house, and I like DuraCraft kits (almost as much as I like the Greenleaf's). Enjoy your building!
  6. What a great score! Can't beat free LOL. I built a Tennyson that was made by Whitney, and I've seen them in kit boxes made by Artply as well. The newer Greenleaf version has a roof over the second balcony deck, the other manufacturers don't, they just have an awning over the door to the balcony. But the original older Greenleaf Tennysons were like the Whitney version. Point being - hard to tell who the manufacturer was. There is also a slimmer puzzle version that I've seen people make look pretty nice, made by multiple toy companies. Old dried glue is hard to get rid of, heat is your friend! (If you have a heat gun or a hair dryer) Then some sanding to smooth it out. Post some progress pictures if you can 🙂
  7. Interesting new eBay listing, pick up only in Milwaukee. "Collection of 55 vintage dollhouses which include Marx (29 houses….including 2 with Disney room), Wolverine (4), T. Cohn (7), Playsteel (2), Lundby (4), Keystone (2), Rich (6), and Brio (1)." https://www.ebay.com/itm/234646635156?hash=item36a2078294:g:h74AAOSwan1i6t-L
  8. Here's a link to the Colombian instructions (same as Brookfield) http://ftp.dollhouseworkshop.net/instructions/duracraft/CB150_Columbian.pdf
  9. WARNING!!!! I've seen this post before, along with a few others, including an old TV that was turned into a dollhouse. I have several old tube TV's in storage and decided to pull out the 13 inch TV to do a small room box inside of it - well it is EXTREMELY dangerous and you can even die trying to take them apart. High voltage is stored inside the tube, even 20 years after it's been plugged in, and it has to be discharged before you can disconnect the parts. Once that is done safely, you can continue.
  10. Interesting, it's front opening too. In one of the pics you can see the edges, it doesn't look like tab/slot assembly either. I don't know the house ID but I know that seller, I've bought from them quite a few times and they seem to have a lot of estate sale minis (they've had some rare pieces for sale in the past).
  11. Thanks! Yes, they're fish hooks 🙂 I made a bunch of them with different beads, etc.

    Skilcraft Cape Cod 1:12 Scale

My summer Cape Cod House. A Skilcraft "Cape Cod" kit. The kit comes with a carport, I built a conservatory instead. I raised it and secured it to a platform with a rotating base (lazy susan) so I can turn it around. Other than that it's in the original kit form.
