Pictures of ancestors above the window and his hat hung on his favorite chair -
This is the home of two middle age wizards - Maximus and Millicent. Maximus writes books uncovering the secret lives of famous muggles (non magical people) who he thinks are really wizards. Millicent has a home based love potions business, delivery by owl of course!

I made all the books and scrolls in the house, most of the scrolls are made from inserts in magazines and a lot of the books are made from old Christmas cards. I bought the chair super cheap and painted some trim on it and then I decoupaged the picture on the back. -

I couldn't figure out how to get a ladder to stay on the stairs so that you can reach the books, and then I remembered that this is a magical home! So the bookshelves move up and down and around until you get the shelf you want! -

Maximus is writing a book proving that Winston Churchill is a wizard, he is studying some of Churchill's speeches while having a snack. -
And the pillows are made from vintage handkerchiefs. -
The pictures all came out of a "Victorian Paper" catalogue.
