  1. And to only post 1 interior photo! There are areas where it's seen wear, I would not buy it sight unseen
  2. Sounds like you've been a bit busy! Congratulations on both kids graduations! Your link didn't work for me. I grabbed one that does. This is the main page: https://www.ebay.com/usr/dehiguey
  3. Here's a thread about some of the history
  4. I have this issue, PM me your address and I'll send it.
  5. It's a private group, I can't see it 🙁
  6. That's a disappointment for sure. Not sure about the Lilliput dormer. I found an assembly for skylight, shows you the parts at least. https://www.dollhouseworkshop.net/Walmer/foxhall/Skylight/Skylight.html I would start by contacting RGT directly and see where that gets you.
  7. Matt- are the walls built or do you have to literally glue together many pieces to create a wall?
  8. OMG the Seaside with those luscious Lawbre windows 🥰🥰 Wish I were nearby!
  9. Yup - Get your mini mojo on! July 15 – 17 Chicago Spring Showcase of Miniatures Wyndam Garden Hotel 1725 E Algonquin, Schaumburg Il Thurs 12-8 Fri 12-8 Sat 9-4 https://miniatureshows.com/
  10. Visalia, see this thread https://forum.greenleafdollhouses.com/gallery/album/6455-visalian-dollhouse/
  11. That price of $86 is just for the plant stand. Desk is $300+
  12. I'm pretty sure it's Unique Miniatures.
  13. Facebook is a viable option. eBay, Craigslist too...just be specific about pickup only. Not sure I can help with price. Where are you located? Do you have a dollhouse shop near you that might take it on consignment?
  14. That Shadowcliff that was on Craigslist is now on ebay as an auction - starting at $500 https://www.ebay.com/itm/264912510852?ul_noapp=true
  15. Wow Kells! Thank you for sharing your story and I'm so glad that you're feeling great now. There's so much we don't know about covid and how any of us would present if we got it. Very scary.
  16. You have to be careful to not get glue on the front, stain won't take where there is glue. Instead of staining, you can paint them after they are glued on.
  17. I tried the 2 roasting pans and it was a mess. The pans were too large, and the bottoms were not flat, but had ridges which also was a problem. I ended up just putting a handful in a smaller metal pan and swishing them around. Feel free to read my blog post.... https://mini-madness.blogspot.com/2019/08/chateau-shingles.html
  18. Thats a Lawbre, yeah, repaint and wallpaper.
  19. Yeah, there's lots of conflicting and misinformation out there. Right now the CDC hasn't confirmed any of those antibody tests, and the FDA is issuing what amounts to a bypass to companies who have developed the serology tests. They aren't approved by FDA but the manufacturers have the ability to sell this test. That doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies as to the quality and validity of the tests and I know that their first priorities for testing are first responders etc. So for now I will stay home, and live in my own bubble.
  20. Here in Illinois we are also on stay at home and I've been working from home since early March. Fortunately both me and hubby still have a job. I was horribly sick in mid February, down for 2 weeks with upper respiratory and sinus, gave it to hubby who too was horribly sick. We both think we had Covid, but of course couldn't get tested. I was either taking time off or WFH during that time, though I did commute downtown 1-2 days...probably spread whatever I had :(. Life is so surreal and the future uncertain, what will the new normal look like. like @1martinimomma I have been thinking about retirement, though mine was looking like 2 years from now. With all this, who knows. I may be out of a job (I'm a contractor) at any time. Not much I can do about it so I've tried to limit my 'woe is me' moments until I really am in a dire situation. I'm very grateful for what I have - health, a home, a healthy husband....and I don't have to commute 2 hours each way every day!
  21. I'd say it all depends. I just don't see it actually happening, to be honest. If you asked me a month ago, I'd say it probably would, but there's so much we don't know and all the lack of data, testing, etc makes what our future looks like very uncertain.
  22. Nice the forum is back up - thank you Dean for all your hard work! I've been busy with a new job since November and then add to the mix working from home, so no mini work from me in a while. I"m trying to get my mojo back. After being dormant for a long time, I will need to figure out where I was with some of my mini work, go back to photos and maybe look over inventory for the current house (lots of stuff still in boxes). Waiting for work to settle a bit, working with a new team and that's been draining.
