They sell small wooden, unfinished beads in bulk at Most of the major craft stores and you can use multiple layers of quilling paper for the main structure, or design on a Cricut (they have them in many libraries now—Maker Spaces—if you don’t own one)

Bromley brick and stone stencils and powder are available in the US at “Dolls and Minis” in Ohio. I recently placed a reorder. The owner is fantastic to work with and ships quickly.

I’ve purchased floral foam rectangles from Dollar Tree, used a dowel the same width as the pill capsules to make impressions and used this to hold the pill capsule halves for filling. I fill them with epoxy that I carefully add with a toothpick so it doesn’t spill over the sides and let harden over night. Once the epoxy cures you can remove and add a bead cap. The gelatin will no longer dissolve. Hope this helps!

Very cute scene! If you are thinking of using a glass container for the tank, they sell small glass jars that are a little taller in the airbrush section of many craft shops (Michaels and Hobby Lobby come readily to mind). The cap is usually a black plastic twist on and can easily be painted white if desired. I would definitely secure the items to the cap first as if you were making a snow globe. This video shows how the fish were created and embedded in their own resin "water" prior to the whole tank being filled with resin so that affixing to an actual structure wouldn't be as much of an issue. I have used both fake water for artificial plants and two part epoxies/resins for my fish tanks. If you decide that bubbles are a problem, mix slowly and then you can exhale on the resin after you pour and the carbon dioxide in your breath should pop them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEgki4IYB5I&feature=share I have created polymer clay fish for my tanks as well as print/draw on shrinky dink material so that you can size how you wish. If you use this second method, you can also draw/print the castle and fish all in one and affix to the cap/cork. Best of luck!

Hi Cathy, live used the Andi bricks to do an entire exterior. I would strongly recommend sealing the brick with a non-waterbased sealant before grouting. I found out the hard way that the grouts moisture can erode the brick if not sealed. Also, I would use a non-sanded grout—sanded grout is abrasive to the brick as you wipe the surface. Finished product is beautiful though and very realistic! Good luck!

I used a product called “Collage Clay” by Modge Podge. It comes in white or pink. It is an air dry medium that comes in a piping bag with assorted tips for about $10. Available at Michaels. I used it on my version of a Hansel and Gretel House using the Orchid. I also used Scribbles dimensional paint in white for finer “icing.” Joker stickers also sells icing looking sticker trim.

Thank you all so much! That is exactly the kit I have and based on the picture I was able to solve another part of the puzzle--the picture shows the brass medallions on the side of the box. I picked up a dollhouse trunk kit from an estate sale and thought it would be the perfect accessory for my most recent house building project. However, while all of the pieces/components were there, the kit was missing the critical instructions. I thought it would be a cinch since, after all, it was only a basic trunk, but when I poured out the contents there seemed to be a few more pieces than what was represented in the only drawing that was included. First off, just based on the picture (there was no manufacturer information included) can anyone identify this kit? Secondly, I am pretty since the inside is intended to be papered, that this is a fully functioning, hinged, trunk and that the additional pieces are a part of that mechanism, but I am unsure of how to proceed. Can anyone advise based on the picture? I will do my best to describe the pieces: The kit came with: Wooden pieces to assemble top and bottom of trunk (done) Brass findings for the top and sides of trunk (done) Brass latch for the front of trunk (done)--all placed based on picture The parts I am uncertain of: 4 brass half circles--I am assuming that these represent the back hinges, but am not sure if they belong visible on the back or on the inside back of the trunk when open 2 small brass medallions (they are cupped as seen in second picture). Each of the medallions has a small hole on one end 2 small brass wires that came pre-bent--I experimented with these and they pass easily through the hole in the medallions without going all the way through 2 small brass hoops that slightly thin at the joint 1, approx 1.5" brass wire 1 piece yellow satin ribbon
