Putting on the Porch

I love the brick...it looks fantastic. I am putting together my first dollhouse which is the Orchid. -
I am excited to begin work on the Orchid but whew-what a job I have ahead of me. I have always wanted a dollhouse and did receive a wooden colonial back in 1979 but it was never put together. A third grader could not possibly be expected to do so and unfortunately it disappeared as time went on. I am determined to complete this!!

What threw me is the directions mentioned painting, staining, etc. before putting it all together. I didn't have anything like that ready. I printed out the online instructions which are easy to read and THERE ARE PICTURES! Thank you for the welcome and for the information.

I just bought this as my first dollhouse for my six year old son and I to build. Feeling overwhelmed! Glad for this forum. I thought that I would be able to just "put the house together" in a day! Silly little me!!!
