  1. Actually the pic of the stagecoach with the sign on the side is the factory in Concord New Hampshire.
  2. My main goal here is to tell an interesting story .The sign on the stagecoach makes my goal very easy so I will change my mind about the saloon and build the structure in the pic which is the home of the manufacturer. http://s6.photobucket.com/user/JohnReid/library/Diorama%208%20Deadwood%20Stage?sort=3&page=1&postlogin=true
  3. Sure is ! It seems very accurate but not well explained. It is great for my purposes as very little of the kit remains.
  4. Thanks ! I want it to look like it did when Buffalo Bill returned it to the original manufacturer after many years on the road with his Wild West shows.
  5. http://s6.photobucket.com/user/JohnReid/library/Diorama%208%20Deadwood%20Stage?sort=3&page=1 Thank you Holly ,Cheers! John.
  6. Hi ! back again with something different .I am building a Old West stagecoach in 1/12th scale that will be used in a Saloon / stagecoach vignette.Hope you like it.Cheers! John.

  8. I deleted it due to mistakes in the text. Will re-post. Cheers!
  9. I think that there were a few.I'll try to find out for you. Cheers! John(aka The Lone Ranger)
  10. Too cool not to share! Since I was a kid I have always loved anything to do with the Lone Ranger. While looking at the trailer today for the upcoming movie I found out that his real name was Reid in the original novel, earlier movies added a first name, John. This movie gave him an additional initial "W" same as mine ,but what really freaked me out was that on the back of the badge he wore in honor of his father, another Texas Ranger who is now dead,it is inscribed JWR the same as my dad who was Joseph. By coincidence the diorama that I am working on now is an Old West Theme Park.I guess that I had better name it the John W. Reid theme park after my father, me and the Lone Ranger.
  11. Thank you for your kind words.Cheers! John.
  12. Hi ! they were draining holes cut in the side of the ship to allow any water on deck to drain away over the side.
