I think this version looks more complete - or maybe refined? I like this better than version 2

I'm already rethinking that bathroom. I like the floors -but the tile - not so much....... I would like the tiles to be more flat and square. A bit more modern - if that makes sense. I'll see what I can come up with.
-
But that still leaves me with the dormer problem? If the walls go in where they are supposed to go - I have two 8 inch wide rooms available - standard bed length is 6 to 6.5 inches long - it overwhelms the room.

He's a bit of a punk,,,, hahaha. Love it - one of these days I'm going to get one, Steve,...

Is it paper? If so try steaming it off or use a hot damp towel to loosen the glue

That's actually a very good looking floor... not sure I would want it there - but if you can save that it'll find a place

It's pretty tough getting the colors right. That takes more time and effort than making them. a lot of the tutorials just tell you some of this and some of that - no ratio or quantity..... oh well.....
-
Mike, I have two other houses sitting on my worktable - unfinished. If I finish one, this one can be my reward. And no, it's not in the boxes anymore............ hahahahaha

He is precious - what a wonderful guy!

This turned out wonderful. I'm about to start on home-made paperclay flagstones (DAS is getting too expensive..... hahahaha).

I'm in love....

This settee has a pencil mark on the back _ I'm uploading the picture right now. I'm not sure if I will be able to remove that without ruining the fabric. I'd like to keep it original, but right now I don't know how well that will go,.

Really like the moldings. Looking good!

So beautiful, amazing job, Jo!

Pat, you need to use every other pair to get the 6 minus and 6 plus poles bundled. (Don't know if they call it that....) Every bulb has an A and a B wire. By connecting them like I did every other wire pairing you get all the As together and all the Bs - then you take each bundle and connect it to the main wire.
I drew at least 3 diagrams to make sure that that will work.
I didn't use pre-wired bulbs, but store bought bi-pins. I just cut regular wire, widened one end a bit with a hot sewing needle and then pushed the pins into the wire - I figured that's the easiest way to do it (and I had those bulbs).Sealed and insulated with glue at the bulb bottom and covered it with a brass tube.

Mike, I got the burn scars to prove I soldered...

Love that grey dress.

But I really do like them... If you don't photograph them together but separate nobody will notice.

I used a cheap paper cutter (guillotine) and it worked really well. I precut 9 inch strips, split them in half down the length and then cut 3/4 inch strips.
-
I just went for a typical herringbone pattern - if you google floor patterns parquet you'll find tons of different ones. I used veneer edge banding (Home Depot or Lowes). I used a paper guillotine cutter to cut it in half lengthwise and then 3/4 inch pieces.
If you are looking for fancy brick patterns - google tudor brick patterns - there are a lot of nice ones out there.

Very beautiful!

Got it. I thought it might have been those. Thanks Brae!

Love the fireplace and the curtain.

Very nice, Brae. If you ever feel like sharing what kind of led you put in those lamps, or a picture from the inside.... I got two of those somewhere in a drawer.
On another note: whenever I see those lights (I got mine from hobby lobby) I think of ebay.... there is one seller who's been trying to sell one of those for almost $20 for weeks now................
Stained Floors, Wallpaper and the Bespaq

No, I liked the original upholstery - my problem is the red mahogany Bespaq seems so fond of. It completely covers the grain, it is lacquered to the extreme and the color is just off.
