Besides eBay, try Etsy, Offerup, Mercari, and your local Craigslist. If you are Facebook, check out Marketplace. -

Step-by-Step Directions for first time builders?
madtex1967 replied to debramt's topic in Greenleaf Dollhouses
I completely disagree! Each house has its own challenges and is different. I build the house first, add the siding, trim, and shingles. Then I attack the interior by priming, wiring and then wallpaper. Then windows are glued in place and then the window trim on the interior is added. Each of us have our own way of building and decorating. It is part of the hobby to figure out what is best for you and the house. Some areas of houses do need some decorating prior to assembly because they are difficult to reach. This is why dry fitting of the kit is best before gluing to acknowledge the challenging areas. -

That is a Concord Miniatures piece. Concord was in business during the 70s and early 80s and had two lines of furniture. Their Museum line was a really nice quality and some pieces sell on eBay from anywhere from $10 to $75 or more. I believe yours is of the museum line.

With LED lights, it will probably not be an issue. Most LEDs have such a long life, they will outlive most of us 🤪 But, I understand where you are coming from. I still use grain of wheat and rice bulbs in 1" scale, so have to think about that issue. It's more difficult in half scale to make a fixture removeable. Maybe those with more half scale experience will chime in. I have only built 3 half scale house and rarely turn on the lights. But in one, a bulb is out, and aside from ripping up the floor above, it is staying burned out.

Good Resource Emily! I forgot about Lighting Bug and Jim Pounder. I have a couple of each of their fixtures as well. They also occasionally come up on eBay as well. You just need to compare to the websites, eBay is not always a bargain.

Ray Stoery lighting comes up from time to time on eBay. Two of his chandeliers were on auction ending last week. I have a generic searches set up for chandeliers, sconces, and lighting. Several of the Krummerow's lamps will show up. One is listed now. Usually you can find all kinds of crystal chandeliers made by various artists that are of Ray Stoey quality. It just takes some time and patience for them to appear.
