  6. I love the blue clamps in that kit you're looking at. I have multiple kinds of clamps, and those are the easiest to use. Regarding my favorite tool, it's the Easy Cutter. It's very helpful for cutting trims. I used to use a miter saw like you see in that kit also, but now I use this instead: http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/easy-cutter-ultimate-262444/I got it at HL with the 40% off coupon.
  7. Ollie has floors IN! Now if he could just get his builder to stop stalling on painting all of that white trim.... GEEEZ, BUILDER. Floors: http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/index.php?app=gallery&image=111063
  8. Oh dear. I haven't gotten to the window sills yet, so I can't help. Hmmm. Perhaps another BH builder will be able to help you. In the meantime, my suggestion is to go with your gut. Does it look right? Does it look the way you like it? If so, it's perfect. ;)

  11. Yes, if you're talking about the mansard roof pieces, mine were a bit cra cra, so I cut them a bit. Here's a pic to show how much I cut off: http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/index.php?app=gallery&image=86292Then the pieces stayed fit, but I had to do a lot of taping to keep them there while the glue dried: http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/index.php?app=gallery&image=86296. I hope this is the right part that you're talking about... ?

  14. I agree with KathieB -- the front opening would be difficult. I can't really see how it would work. But I bet you COULD do it if really want to and put your mind to it! ;)
  15. Oh dear. If Ollie sees you've done two of these half scale buttercups while I've been lollygagging around, he'll clunk me on the head. *ducks* Well done -- it looks GREAT!
