The lamps look great! Can you please post a tutorial?

Thanks! I mostly only have the weekends to build. Nutti, Yes, I saw yours. All I did was use the old roof center and just cut it using the other peak as a template and glued it on. Of course this meant I had to make new roof pieces, but I just bought some wood at a hobby shop for the big side and cut the small roof from the old roof piece.

I finally got around to posting my pictures. I have more still to add, but these should wet your appetite. Check out my gallery.

I used spray primer and I was happy with the results. It blew the little pieces around some, but it was quick and dried fast. I used brush on paint though, and I am glad I did. It fills in the cracks and looks nice. Have fun painting.

If you want to do bricks or stone, there are some really nice printies. I can't give you the links, because I'm new too and I'm not aloud yet, but if you go to the about.com site and type in the search 'miniatures', there is a printie link listed on the left. It is what I am going to do with my house. By the way, I love your avitar. That is my favorate movie. Where did you get it?

Finally figured out how to post here. I have loved miniatures all my life and never bought one. After much deliberation I decided on the McKinley because it is small enough to hang on the wall or put on a shelf. It came January 4, 2007. I couldn't get to it that weekend, but I did the next, and I am so excited. I really like this site. There is so much information here from very helpful people. I hope to be able to post pictures of my progress. I have never posted to a blog before, so this is all new to me. Hello to all.
