  1. wow...what a lovely house! Here I am nearly a year later looking at all the photos...I do have a question..well really many , many...but the first one is...is this house from a kit? If so , which one? I have two kits yet to be assembled...was waiting until we move...but so far have not moved so they are sitting here....in the meantime, I am looking at all of these lovelies and hoping that some of the great ideas will stick in my brain! Love this house!! Diane
  2. Oh, my...the coupon from Hobby Lobby came via the computer and I cannot wait to find the nearest H.L.!! They have some great deals on furniture and accessories..We do not have one close to us, so when I go to meetings or to visit friends or family, I alway ask if they have one nearby..those 40 off coupons really help. I am always on the look-out for furniture on ebay and then do some other internet shopping..There is always something available that I cannot live without!!! Have a very small dollhouse that my Hubby bought at an auction...filled that and have totes filled with "stuff" to put in the Beacon Hill and Victorian Farmhouse..(that is when I get them done!!!) What fun to change the furnishings around between the houses..and where are my houses?? Well, when company is coming, they have to be moved to the basement..Dream of having a room all to myself someday just for the houses! Question?? I just want to keep building and decorating dollhouses...well, I think you all understand that!...so , if I decide to make and sell some, how do you decide just what to charge??? I love looking at the wonderful homes you have finished..gives me real incentive...you are all so very, very talented!! nanadi in Wisconsin p.s. it is really, really cold here!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. It is indeed a beautiful house!! How did you paint the brick pattern or are you extrmemly talented...well, I guess you do not have to answer that!! You are!! It looks like a very difficult thing to do.. nanadi
  4. I have been sitting here looking and looking at the beautiful work done on this dollhouse..such pretty colors and decorating! Someday I will get my dollhouse started! (Beacon Hill)..in the meantime I am trying to soak up some of the talent and ideas!! You have a comment on this picture and I am wondering what it means? "It is very sad to see DC go away" and am just nosy enough to wonder what that means... Thanks! nanadi
  5. I will never win the dollhouse, but is it available to purchase??That would be the only way I will ever own it!!! Nana :
  6. I am so new to all of this and have been looking at the site since yesterday when I got home from a trip....I am thinking to myself....how do I post??? and then it just came to me...a little slow sometimes! I have two house kits still in the box and a huge box filled with furniture...cannot wait for the snow to fly so I can get started!! Is this a disease or something??? I want every other kit I look at! I hope that I can figure out how to play on Friday night...Is the 7:00 eastern time? I live in the midwest..do I post on this site?? HELP! If not, where do I go??? thanks to any and all who can help this NANA!! Nana Di
  7. It has been a long time since I last posted on this website and still have not had the time to build my Beacon Hill....In the meantime , I went out and bought another dollhouse kit...am I crazy?? Hope not.. Anyway, I have looked and looked at all the wonderful Beacon Hill's and am wondering just how Maxwell of the "Maxwell Beacon Hill dollhouse" made the yellow stripe awning over the secone floor porch. I would appreciate any help as I am so very new to all of this. I live near St. Paul and Minneapolis and so far have not found any shops that have dollhouse kits or furniture. Thank you for any and all help! d-westbrook
