I have my maternal line going back 7 generations on paper. My paternal has been a little tricky. Three generations for grandma and no luck with grandpa. Grandma's grandma was Native American and is supposed to listed on the Dawes List, but there is some confusion on the last names. That side of my family wasn't really into sharing a lot of info. Grandma bible just has her immediate that I know about. Grandpa came from Canada. I have a maternal great-grandfather who migrated to Utah to practice polygamy. He had 6 wives. I am pretty sure I am related to half of Northern Utah especially around Millcreek and Provo.

My White Orchid is almost done. I have a few more things to do to it. Put the door in, add some snow. I didn't do any interior decorating because the supplies/items I had for that seem to be gone. Decorating will be a work in progress. My Shenadoah is pre cut pine. I am finding that I need to sand all the pieces. I noticed the pieces have marks from routers and saws. SOme of the pieces even have ridges. 776 pieces is a lot of sanding. I am glad I have an electric sander. I have one and half kits and I am trying to figure out how I can bash the two together.

My poor neglected Tennyson. I lost interest in this house. I walk by it everyday. Alysia was going to finish it but then she became a teenager. <sigh> I was looking at her today, wondering if the five minute room rescue would work on her. Maybe just working on the house will get her back in the zone.

I used to plan meals, but got out of the habit for a while. I do have the book Saving Dinner. Its a recipe book with weekly menus for each season that has the shopping list at the beginning of each week. All the recipes serve six although we found out they serve more. There is a recipe for black bean soup that will feed a small army.

We had a kitten a that liked to eat lettuce. We didn't have her very long. Turns out she had FIP

It been a long year with a lot of details I don't care to go into. Luna and Fatboy are home. Luna is here until Mabyn finds a place of her own when she is done with school. She is in Boise for school. Rudi, my dog, and Luna were at my sister's house. Rudi is still there because he does a good job of wearing Patrick out. I don't think I have ever seen a boy more happy to have a dog. He has been there for months and Patick still takes care of him like he did on the first day. As happy as Rudi made me, I think Patrick and him are childhood soul mates. They are best buds. I have no idea where Fatboy has been. Mike brought him this morning.

Yay! I want one so much. Time to start saving.
