  1. Ok went through all the pieces and it looks like 11/15 sheets of wood are punched out and or missing I have none of the walls, roof, or chimney. So much for brand new never assembled! I'm tempted to return it to the seller and make them pay shipping. But I'll do that after I scan in the drawings so I can make my own LOL.
  2. Well one of the sheets is missing and the others are from sheets that I still have. So I'm guessing I could scan in the drawing sheet and resize it, trace out the parts and cut em. But that would require me going back home and the other unfinished kit (the Glencroft) is there and I might get distracted with that one! lol I emailed the seller and I'm waiting on a response, the description of it says "Opened in box never assembled, instructions included comes with starter furniture, Dollhouse and furniture all wood" Shipping on the thing was $20 and it was only $49 but yeah I could probably get a refund from paypal. But wouldn't I then have to spend $20 more to ship it back? Eh I could always sell it as a kit to kit bash.
  3. So I got my brookwood kit and opened it only to find someone had already punched out the pieces. Looks like I'm missing all the chimney pieces, the stairs, and the front wall. I doubt I'll be able to find just those for sale
  4. Yup its the next house for me, now I can actually have tropical plants in the yard since there's a deck in the front. But a wrap around porch sounds good too!
  5. I just won a Brookwood yesterday, the other that was listed sold for twice as much! Hmm can I wait a week til it comes :o
  6. Sure is cute! Hmm do I wanna go pick it up :o
  7. I actually have the little people that have no arms and legs (from the late 60s-80s) and the plastic A frame house Its amazing what you can find on ebay for really cheap. I gave away most of my little people before I moved and bought some of the stuff back lol.
  8. Dangit theres none of those stores on the west coast Ben Franklin used to sell dollhouses when I was little. But they're long gone too! So I get to buy everything for the dollhouse online, and the housing office wonders why I get so many packages
  9. Ok so I've been here for a few days but between planning my furniture for the hut and projects I haven't had time to post. So far I have the fisher price little people houses on my dresser and my discount dollhouse kit. I'm thinking I should start working on the 1/2 scale houses since I'm running out of room!
  10. What branch (no pun intended) is your son in? My mom has some tall trees next to her house and our poor cat climbed all the way to the top. We had to call the fire dept to get her down. I spent all day Sat in the garden but still didn't get anything planted! Had to even out the soil first, maybe today if it stops raining I'll plant some flowers.
  11. Thanks I had a yard planned out with sand, a kiddie pool, and some trees but until I find room its not happening.
  12. So I ordered a discount dollhouse kit and put it together in less than an hour. For some reason I thought I'd make a hut and for the roof I actually glued on raffia from a grass skirt. I'm still waiting on some furniture though, I had a yard all planned out but ran out of room The Hut
