:thumbup: People who aren't aware of all the work that goes into something often make careless remarks. I would normally just let it bounce off and not let it bother me...it doesn't matter what they think anyway....

Having four teens at home, My husband and I have gone the route of they have to clean their room at least within reasonable cleanliness... :popcorn: pick up trash, put dirty laundry in laundry room, make bed every day etc. If they don't do it, no t.v. and no video games. They have a dinner clean up duty night assigned,,no t.v. till it's done. If something doesn't get done, then no allowance or an allowance deduction, or a taking away of a much desired privilege. I have found in order to get them to do something, you get them where it "hurts". I have refused to take them somewhere because of an infraction. In other words, "cutting off their feeding tube" so to speak gets their attention more than anything. Find out what is really important to them and cut it off until behaviour is modified. My husband I are still leariing as parents, but we have also learned a few things that seem to work better than others. This is one of them....(Parenting is tough work!)

I have reached the age where if I go in a room and forget why I am there I retrace my steps and go back in hoping to jog it out of my memory why I am confused...(tee hee) I sitll have four teenagers at home...could that be the cause of my disorientedness? (smile)
