Miniature paintings
I've been doing whatever I can to stay creative and painting on canvas has become my new outlet. Of course you know it wasn't long before I tried scaling it down to miniature because I have lots more space on the walls of my dollhouses than I do in my real life house. LOL! But mainly it's because miniatures are still my passion so whenever I can, I paint something tiny.

Scratch build caravan
I found this scratch build caravan in a little shop selling handmade southwestern art. The clerk told me it had been there for years and they thought they'd never sell it but he had no idea of its origin. The perspective is way off and there's no real scale to it but I simply couldn't walk away and leave it in the store so it came home with me. I'm sure that it will eventually tell me what it wants to be. I'm guessing that steampunk will win when it comes to a final decision.

Planetary Observation and Galactic Research Facility
Dr. Thaddeus Robertson invites you to visit his steampunk Planetary Observation and Galactic Research Facility. Experience the wonders of the Universe thru his high-powered galactic viewer, browse thru the workshop to see whats new, or enjoy a cup of coffee in the greenhouse while you sit in a steampowered rocking chair and gaze up at the stars. The housekeeper, Mrs. Donovan, will be happy to answer your questions...when she has time. She's kept pretty busy chasing after the minions and keeping them in line.

Miss Tennyson in Progress
The Tennyson is inspired by the book "The Awakening" by Kate Chopin. It's one of my favorite books and I always wanted to create my version of a house for Edna. The style is low country and the setting is along the Gulf of Mexico. Technically, the year would be somewhere around 1900. It will be light and airy, filled with monochromatic white wicker furniture and soft, muted walls that allow the pops of color in the furnishings to define its owner's character. I'll start with pictures taken while I build it and carry thru to the finished house.
