  3. I still use the original blades that came with that saw and I love it for mini work.
  4. So very sorry to hear of your loss. I know how special a bond between an owner and their fur ball can be. Hugs to you!
  5. I am in LOVE with this kitchen. The oven is exceptional!

I am in love with this bash! This is gorgeous.
  7. Isn't your wife lucky! I agree with what the others are saying. I'm relatively new to the Miniature world, and I started with the Spring Fling - a small one room building. I figured it was small enough that I could try a few different things without a huge investment, but still big enough that I could do some projects and decide if building a dollhouse was for me without a huge outlay of finances. I'm so glad I did and now I know my style and what my next dollhouse should be and what work I'm willing to do. Feel free to ask questions here too - there is a wealth of knowledge available and years of experience!!
  8. Sounds like a lot of flinging is going on. I can't wait to see all of the entries! My DH insisted that I work on the dollhouse while he cleaned the house yesterday (to which I promptly agreed) and got quite a bit of work done on the Fling. Floor laid, windows built and installed, and started on the ______________. I have so much to be done, but I think I might just be able to pull it off by the deadline. I like to think I do my best work when I procrastinate until the very end. (at least that's what I've told myself all these years )
  9. So to update on the sweet baby kittens - Mom ran off and left them, so after a day of them wandering around on our deck crying, we went to the pet store and got them droppers and kitten formula to feed them. That may have been one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Even my husband, who is not a fan of cats at all, agreed that it was cute and then wanted to try feeding a few himself. Thankfully when we went to the pet store, one of the staff is a kitten rescuer, so she agreed to take them and raise them until they are old enough to go to homes. There are 3 boys and 1 girl and they are doing quite well. We haven't seen them in a week, but she still sends us pictures and updated frequently. Very lucky to have found her, as the local SPCA I called asked for a $100 surrender fee and then stated because they are "feral" they will more than likely be humanely euthanized. No thanks!
  10. Welcome, Stacey! It's good to see another Pennsyvlania resident here! Don't be afraid to ask for help or ideas - this forum is a wealth of knowledge and very quick to help out!
  11. I love your pub, Holly! And the research is half the fun of building a kit. I could spend hours doing it. (of course, I inevitably end up with tons of ideas I don't use, but I'm sure they'll be put to good use at some point down the road)
