I do something similar to Holly except I use aleenes tacky glue (also dries clear) to glue the pane to the window frame and clamp it until dry. I also use tacky glue to glue the window to the house but instead of taping it I will use a tiny dot of super glue (gel) on the corners of the windows because the super glue will grab and hold until the other glue dries.

Welcome to the forum! I agree with everyone else-try using a hairdryer at the joins and a Stanley knife. You can also heat the glue, use the knife, heat the glue, use the knife continuously until you get it apart

@LPCullen this is FABULOUS! Thank you! And you are terrific with wallpaper! Great choices that work very well together. I am choosing wallpapers now, and being a designer, it's so hard!
Thank you! I wallpaper in miniature and in real life. I have a tendency to choose my furniture and then match my wallpaper to that. PS-wallpaper also hides a lot of flaws!

Not sure if this will work but I’ll try…

This album should be public so you can see it. Also, I do the same with houses with turrets etc-I just use a can of paint and/or pieces of wood to level the house so it remains still

Good luck and welcome to the forum!

Remember, you can flip the house around to get to things better. I frequently flip the house from side to side and upside down for painting and wallpapering purposes

Welcome to the forum! I look forward to seeing pix!

It does resemble a Foxhall Manor, but portions of it don’t look like it was a kit.

That was my thought too!

I was never very successful at making those hinges work either. I gave up and my doors do not open

This kit was the very first dollhouse that Jimmy and I built! I also think it’s easier to do the inside first.

Could have sworn you said Garfield. I’ve built 2 Glencrofts.

Did anyone ever locate the last doll we had traveling?
Dunno about the last one but the one I was involved in was returned to its original owner

Thinking about doing a traveling doll. It was so much fun last time I was involved in it. Any interest? Any questions? Any thoughts? Feel free to PM me if you have questions

I’ve built 2 Glencrofts. One is in the members builds and one is not
