I've had the same thing happen to me. I had poison ivy on both arms and itched like crazy. I used Calagel. That stuff is amazing. It stopped the itch right away. I now keep an extra bottle of it in the house. You might try it.

I've always used a tiny nail to hold them, plus glue. I want them to stay in place.
