Thanks, everyone! @ Cheverley: I used air drying clay on the upstairs wall/ceiling for a plastered look and scrap booking paper on the downstairs walls using diamond glaze so it wouldn't wrinkle. Here are some more pics...

This is my first foray into dollhouse making. It's a French country style cottage I spent a couple of month's worth of spare time on. It was great fun! Perhaps next winter I'll try something else...
