Half Scale A Frame
Had forgotten I even had this kit, as I had it stashed under a work bench out in my shop. While on the hunt for materials to use in another build, I stumbled upon a small package wrapped in brown paper... of course I had to unwrap and see what I had -- ended up being a delightful little half scale A Frame. It didn't have instructions with it, but honestly it went together so easily and was labelled so well on all the tabs and slots I had it all completely dry fit in less than 10 minutes. Have yet to find another of these that have been finished, so even though I have chosen to bash and change it a bit -- I wanted to make sure I recorded it here so if anyone else wants to see it built they can find some reference pics!

DuraCraft Ashley Donation House
This was originally set to be a Christmas cottage, and then it ended up sitting out with just the basis of the shell built on the workbench stalled. As it was, when I donated the Plum Pudding the next week I got a msg on FB asking if I might not care to donate a house to a local benefit that has been put on for the last five years to raise heart/health awareness, as well as benefit local fire stations. As I've tried donating in the past and no one ever got back with me, I was super excited and said yes before realizing the actual event would be in less than 3 weeks from that date. lol
All in all though, after being told it would be put on a children's table and if I could leave some of it "unfinished" for the new owners to work on(that was super hard for me) I liked what I did manage. This was my first time working with both thatch and Paperclay, and I enjoyed both -- and learned a lot! :)

1:6 Victorian Townhouse Rehab
A house I got free(thank goodness) due to the amount of work involved in "fixing" it. Basically from what I got from the original owner -- their kids were basically both at fault for tearing it to pieces, breaking the windows and doors out, and ripping out the chandeliers. I was asked not to have electrical in it for the little girl it's going to, but to please do it like I would if it were going to be one of my own. Mom apparently wants to replace some of her plastic dollhouses with more that are able to be grown with and respected by the rest of the family, as apparently the little girl is already quite enamored with minis and protects them from the rest of the family.
Hoping this house when I'm done will truly fill the spot that her mom is hoping for!

Plum Pudding Rehab
A house I picked up a few years back in Pittsburgh from a Craigslist ad. The girls father had built it for her, and she was in college and no longer wanted it. Thus here I have it and it's been collecting dust, but where I also managed to pick up an unwanted siding kit off Ebay for cheap... figured it was time to see what I could do with them! :)

1:144 Farmhouse
An older 1:144 scale kit from North Eastern. This one actually didn't have a name on it when I started, only a kit number. Was definitely amusing when I pulled it out, as the trim pieces were packaged with a rubber band holding them together. To give an idea as to the age -- the rubber band had dried on to the trim and broken apart when I tried to remove the trim.

MacKenzie Childs inspired house
An old Walmer Blueberry Pie Townhouse kit. I had been inspired by a decoupaged house done with MacKenzie Childs paper -- loved it, but wanted to do my own twist on it. Again, my old friend Ebay came through with several lots of tissue papers and napkins by MacKenzie Childs for much cheaper than I would have found direct from the company. So, this will be my album to hopefully keep me moving forward on this build.

1:144 Fan House
First time building a house in this scale, definitely makes one want to be careful handling the parts and pieces!

Georgetown Brownstone
Probably the one dollhouse kit that I've never seen a duplicate of, other than in a product description in The Miniatures Catalog Third Edition. When I got this kit it was missing the windows, and unfortunately had several sizeable cracks/holes in the plastic coating on the facade... but this has truly been an enjoyable build to figure out how to work around and through the problems I've experienced! :)
