Versailles desktop
This is my latest creation: a gilded office in gold leaf.
I had great fun working on this piece.
I like the contrast between the brilliance of gold and deep black.
I added a gold metal decoration to emphasize the curvature of the shape of the cabinet.
Finally I make a golden blotter and inkwell and a black and white feather.
This furniture is stylish, cozy and sober at the time. It exudes great elegance, fragrance of the art of French living.
I invite you to discover on my blog (click the link below) where I found my inspiration.

Mini Theatre of paper (like those of old ...)
This beautiful Theater is a miniature Theater to 1:12 scale dollhouse.
It is embossed with the arches that support the decorations.
The actors and scenery are thick and stiff paper.
The stage curtain is functional. It rises gently pulling up on a small tab (I wanted long enough for it to be adjusted according to taste of the future owner of the Theatre)
The Theater structure is in polished wood and very thick paper.
This wonderful collection of reproduced piece of paper theaters of yesteryear.
The scene that plays in this one place in the eighteenth century somewhere in France.
It is a rare and delicate miniature object that will enrich your miniature interior.
