Thank you to everyone who replied. I can't wait to get started on the Glencroft. I have actually been collecting things to decorate and furnish the house for several years. I've gotten so involved in its anticipated creation that I now refer to it as my retirement home. That's how much I love it. I'll keep you posted and thanks for the words of encouragement.

Hi, everyone! I'm new at building dollhouses and have chosen the Glencroft as my first one. After reading some entries from other members, I am feeling overwhelmed - especially since I want to make some changes. I would appreciate any input that anyone can offer. some of the things I want to do include having doors and windows that can open and close, finishing the exterior in individually-set stone with mortar, changing the banisters along the staircase. Any ideas? Are these ideas even possible? Love reading all the comments from everyone!
