  1. Happy Anniversary, to youuuuuuuuuuuu!
  2. Like Nutti, I have never sealed any of my scrapbook paper before glueing. I think that they are designed to be archival and not fade, so sealing really shouldn't be needed. That makes them just perfect for wallpaper. The only time I've heard of people sealing wallpaper is when it has been printed off the computer.
  3. Ooooooh, it's so sweet! Every room just looks so cozy! I love where you've put the baby cradle, just the perfect spot for it. Ya'll did a great job!
  4. I'm so glad you posted this! I had completely forgot about the mini autumn decorations I had put in a box after last year. I'm sure I would have eventually remembered sometime after Christmas.
  5. Congratulations on ordering your first mini house! The sugarplum is a sweet little house. Any ideas yet on what you're going to do with it?
  6. Oh my gosh! I didn't even realize there were mini patterns like that available. That is too cool!
  7. I often dream of loved ones who have died. We ususally just visit, but one time my uncle sang and played a nice irish tune I had never heard of before on the guitar. Not exactly ghosts, just nice visits.
  8. Gosh, that's a hard one. I have been blessed wth one of each, so it's not exactly as though I am lacking one or the other. I know my sister would love to predetermine a girl because she has three boys and has always wanted a girl. I kind of think that I would like the opportunity to choose, because at times, I can be a bit of a control freak and there are already so many things about pregnacny that are out of our control. The real problem would be deciding which sex to choose because I have enjoyed raising both!
  9. It looks perfect! You would never be able to tell by looking that it had been a "problem child". All it needed was a firm hand! I like those basement windows, too. It leaves a bit to the imagination. My husband would probably use one of his favorite expressions: "See, you can polish a turd."
  10. That's a beautiful color scheme! I'll bet that little girl will treasure it forever. Does she already know what it looks like, or will it be a suprise?
  11. Here they are! They rails proved to be trickier to put in than I had thought they would be, but in the end, I prevailed! I do have some bears in mind for the three bears cottage. They have been waiting a long time!
  12. Such lovely perfume bottles and lamp! Miss Pennethorne is such a lucky lady. I hadn't heard she was to be wed - seems a shame to have to share that beautiful bedroom of hers with a man.
  13. What a charming little house. I really like the fimo kitchen floor, I hadn't seen that done before. Something to file in my try-it-out pile.
  14. I'm so impressed with how your BH has come along! And I love the lit jack-o-lantern. Makes me want to see what else I can wire up in my dollhouse. The whole thing is absolutely stunning!
  15. I have made it about halfway through putting one of these together and it is pretty straight-forward. I look forward to finishing it.
  16. How inspiring for Halloween! She is such a creative person. What do you suppose she used for flooring on the second floor? Too Cool!
  17. That is such a cool idea! I've been wanting to make a cross-stitched quilt for a little bed and this should be perfect.
  18. The Haunted House was the one I was turning in to a three little bears cottage. I got about halfway done with it. Maybe I can finish it in time for this Christmas. ;) In the meantime, I've been collecting several storybooks with bear characters. I think Emma will get a kick out of these, she's four now and is doing more pretend play. I do need to get a few pictures of my ballisters in the Arthur, they look very nice and I don't have to worry about my little old people falling and breaking a hip on the stairs! I'll snap some soon and get them posted.
  19. Gosh I've been gone a while. With halloween creeeeping up, I suddenly realized how long I have left my haunted house kit unfinished and how long it has been since I checked in here. I'm still blazing through graduate school at a slow - two class per semester pace - but I'm more than halfway through. On an up note, I did finally just finish installing the stair railing in my Arthur! Progress!! ;)
  20. I love that! I don't remember it either, but I want to show it to my daughter. Were those Madam Alexander dolls? Very sweet! ;)
  21. I had no idea that Ken had changed so much over the last few years. Isn't he a little to old to be pretending to be a backstreet boy? Are both of those pictures supposed to be Ken? To be honest, I don't think that either of them look like marraige material! Perhaps Barbie should keep looking.
  22. That stain looks great for that house. And it's such a cute little house! Can't wait to see more!
