Working now on distressing and making the colors work the way I want. Made a faucet out of wood. Its not perfect but hope when I post it it works.

Wondering if I should make this. THIS is 1:12 not 1:6 so I figure I CAN make it. MMMM where to put it.

RESEARCH IDEA, sorry its on its side. I like the TOP RECTANGULAR treatment.
-
Since I do have a square 1 IN dowel and was planning to put windows on either side, this is a good IDEA. I want to use a different TOP though.
-
DOOR RESEARCH but in my illusion the door top treatment will be different.

Another RESEACH IDEA for stairwell, will create the curved bottom 3 stairs, combining the millwork in this photo with the other millwork stairwell photo. STAIRWELL will be HIDDEN as part of the ILLUSION of a taller ceiling.

RESEARCH IDEA stair, like the WALL. Want to combine with other stairwell research ideas.

**IDEA not sure yet on fireplace ultimate decor

Cabinet has 1" lip top and bottom which makes the 15" CEILING look shorter than it is. While this project really requires 40" or 20FT ceilings, I plan to make the build the ILLUSION as if it had a 20FT/40IN H ceiling.

EVERYTHING in this project is made from SCRATCH except windows and some treatments I had purchased long ago.

Did anyone see the crew barbie showing up in the window from the shelf across????

I don't understand. She was not a broken in transit doll.
This was a head I pulled from Alex Morgan Mattel doll, pulled the hair and attempted to reroot. The reroot looked great until I tried to put te head on the doll. Massive nightmare. I even split the head. SO I had another doll head I was working on. Tried that head on the body BEFORE finishing and BEFORE gluing. So far the head went on the NEW body. I am letting the head and glue sit quite a bit and will see if I can mount the head with Rerooted hair onto the body. ALEX Morgan...might have to buy another head. Or not

The door is amazing, structure too

Because there are 2 BOXES (see the line in middle) the staircase, archway and fireplace are removable or movable. Glued walls down...eeeek

bricks are 1/6 scale and real material./ I had the corbel and the front was from Home Depot. Bigger than expected but happy how it turned out.

PLAN per research

Instead of gluing floor boards I CUT them in. Like this technique though depends on the project.

Manuvering 2 upstairs rooms so you can see stair hallway through doors and windows. 1 1/2 sides will be open with protected plexiglass. I have lots of siding on 2 1/2 sides and 1/2 a roof to go.
