Egg carton slate pavers, painted with gray primer, dabbed with chalk pastels, and sealed.

I've started the RGT Alison Jr, which seems to want to be French Colonial... I think. I promised some friends who are looking forward to bidding on the house at the xmas faire that it would have a Disney theme. Hmmm.... sometimes the house just morphs into its own story.

Love this guy's face! Once I receive my alpaca fleece, he's going to get a makeover.

Sorry for the delay in responding. (I was having trouble finding where to view comments on my photos.) I used Gallery Glass, which looks like a paint-by-numbers set, but acts like colored glue. I got the set for trying my hand at making stained glass window inserts, but I need more practice. It was easy enough, though, to just swirl the clear glaze on and end up with a sort of frosted glass. (Some day I'll use real glass window panes; acrylic panes look scratched and worn to me. I'm always trying to hide them.)
