Sometimes it is a crap shoot. Stick to miniature sellers that work in 1/12th scale etc...There are several online dollhouse shops like Earth and Tree, Miniature Designs. Also, Etsy. Walmart, Temu, Ali Baba......It is hit or miss. Plus Chinese sellers on eBay Where did you buy the lighting? This shop is very reputable https://cr2s.com/

Hi Shannon, I have an inexpensive Epson printer. It did a great job on printable silk and cotton. On your fancy printer, is there a way to reduce the print quality....reduce the dpi?

Battery operated lights would be good if kids are going to play.

That is really unique. I would be tempted too. I see a duplex in the making.....It could be set in any era.

I have never heard of this house so I had to google it. file:///C:/Users/Carrie/Downloads/The_Dolls_House_Store.pdf It looks like the company is still in business. https://www.baccraftminiatures.com/product/preston-manor-dolls-house-and-basement/ I would try calling them for help.

This is an older thread you might be interested in. There is a link to a Tudor house by Robin Carey, it not a Glencroft, but it might inspire you. I suggest playing around with the house while it is in dry fit. You can make mock additions using cardboard. There are not many pictures of additions on the web, but if you add on to one side etc...it should be straight forward.

I love corny....family calls me a corn ball.

I think the house and the doll house were separated at birth...NOT. I just really wanted to say, that I love that show and will be looking for it on Discovery plus.

WOW! I thoroughly enjoyed the book. What a neat idea. Thank you for sharing your book with us. You have been a prolific builder. Your houses are wonderful and you should be proud of what you were able to create.

tips for assembly and preparation
Mid-life madness replied to wallflowermolly's topic in My First Dollhouse
For primer, I like to use the Zinsser white shellac....you should only need a quart. -
It is entirely your call. I tend to be messy with the glue, and the glue marks do not take stain.....staining first then gluing is the main reason it is done first.

Construction issues with the Lily Roof.

I suggest using thin cardboard, like the type used for cereal boxes....Even a thicker card stock. No one will ever know. -

Mid-life madness replied to HalloweenGhost's topic in General Mini Talk
They are lovely kits, too bad you don't have the instructions. Do you have a picture to go by? Some pieces fetch nice prices. https://www.ebay.com/itm/125398233636 -
Looking for an assembled Beacon Hill

You can buy a kit and see what Earth N Tree Miniatures would charge you to assemble it? They are in New Hampshire. Also, stalk Craig's list, eBay and Facebook Market place if you can. -
