There are 1:24 options out there, they are limited compared to 1:12. Most every online store does carry a selection of 1:24 scale/1/2 scale. Almost a full year. The entry pictures are due by mid-December.

It is neat. My kids loved anything that they could build with when they were younger. I think I would enjoy it too!

ND you did a great job. So glad to hear you think it’s fun to work with. I have mine gathered to start a castle look soon. Linda I have the 3 shelf corner cabinet #5029 and it does not allow a book case to butt up on either side.

That is what I noticed, I bought the volume 5 too. I also down loaded this catalog that Karin referenced. You can see what the findings look like. Their site is very frustrating. Let me know which kit you order.

Welcome Laura, The house is really detailed and looks like a lot of fun to assemble. I think you will have to open the kit and do a dry fit to see what scale it is and how you can make the interior accessible You can always use magnets to make the walls semi-permanent.I like the hinge idea too. Once you crack open the box, it will be easier to make you ideas come true. There are some nice 1/4 scale furniture kits available if it turns out to be that scale.
