@1martinimomma has a Rosedawn.
You should message her and inquire. I think she might want to sell it?

Hi Shannon,
I have an inexpensive Epson printer. It did a great job on printable silk and cotton.
On your fancy printer, is there a way to reduce the print quality....reduce the dpi?

Here is a link to a neat Art Nouveau shop https://www.messynessychic.com/2020/11/25/oh-just-your-own-miniature-art-nouveau-palace-for-sale/
Also, this Etsy seller has some nice furniture kits
Also, France has some beautiful architecture if you just google. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&sca_esv=0f14928c59bdde74&sxsrf=ACQVn0_SW3FN448iv6GFR5KnegCCssnRnQ:1708915837925&q=french+art+nouveau+architecture&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjgwOHL_8eEAxW5ke4BHdGbAH8Q0pQJegQIDBAB&biw=1426&bih=690&dpr=1.33

Battery operated lights would be good if kids are going to play.

This is in my old neighborhood in San Francisco:https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bab/d/san-francisco-large-doll-house/7704961536.html
For $100, I would be very tempted if I still lived there!
(Who am I kidding, I"m still tempted.)
That is really unique. I would be tempted too. I see a duplex in the making.....It could be set in any era.

I have never heard of this house so I had to google it.
file:///C:/Users/Carrie/Downloads/The_Dolls_House_Store.pdf
It looks like the company is still in business. https://www.baccraftminiatures.com/product/preston-manor-dolls-house-and-basement/
I would try calling them for help.

This is an older thread you might be interested in. There is a link to a Tudor house by Robin Carey, it not a Glencroft, but it might inspire you.
I suggest playing around with the house while it is in dry fit. You can make mock additions using cardboard. There are not many pictures of additions on the web, but if you add on to one side etc...it should be straight forward.

Corny doesn't mean bad! The house blindness though, that's pretty bad 😆
I love corny....family calls me a corn ball.

I think the house and the doll house were separated at birth...NOT.
I just really wanted to say, that I love that show and will be looking for it on Discovery plus.

Aw, shucks, Linda! (blush)
I'm not too crazy about the X-acto knives because apparently when I use mine I hold it some way that makes it untwist and after a very few minutes the blade comes loose.
I have the same problem

How are you? So glad to see your post.

WOW! I thoroughly enjoyed the book. What a neat idea.
Thank you for sharing your book with us. You have been a prolific builder. Your houses are wonderful and you should be proud of what you were able to create.

For primer, I like to use the Zinsser white shellac....you should only need a quart.

It is entirely your call.
I tend to be messy with the glue, and the glue marks do not take stain.....staining first then gluing is the main reason it is done first.
-
I suggest using thin cardboard, like the type used for cereal boxes....Even a thicker card stock. No one will ever know.

This is impressive. I have never seen a Swiss Chalet "dollhouse" before:

e. I’ve been watching those sites like a hawk
It seems like, as soon as I start looking for a dollhouse it shows up. Fingers crossed you have some good luck and one pops up for you soon!

They are lovely kits, too bad you don't have the instructions. Do you have a picture to go by? Some pieces fetch nice prices.

You can buy a kit and see what Earth N Tree Miniatures would charge you to assemble it? They are in New Hampshire.
Also, stalk Craig's list, eBay and Facebook Market place if you can.

On-line Buying Frustration
in General Mini Talk
Posted
Sometimes it is a crap shoot.
Stick to miniature sellers that work in 1/12th scale etc...There are several online dollhouse shops like Earth and Tree, Miniature Designs. Also, Etsy.
Walmart, Temu, Ali Baba......It is hit or miss. Plus Chinese sellers on eBay
Where did you buy the lighting? This shop is very reputable https://cr2s.com/
