This is something I was worrying about. I'm in the process of striping back my Beacon Hill to the shell and refinishing it (it was built nearly 30 years ago by my mum). Getting the shingles off that section of roof was such a pain in the backside that I was dreading putting new shingles in there. Love the template idea. Let me know how you get on with it

Hi. I'm redmonk and I'm based in the UK. Not new to miniatures but coming back to them after a 25 year break. It's nice to have the time and budget that I didn't as a 12 year old! My current project is a total renovation of a Beacon Hill house my mum built nearly 30 years ago. I've already ripped out the decor my younger self was so proud of, and I'm currently stripping back the structure of the house. Removing the staircases was a challenge!
