  1. Thanks. Looks like it's in better shape than mine. Very interesting, though.
  2. Thanks for the input everyone. I'll try to do more research on the German/Indian aspect... tough, though, when there is little documentation available. Keep your thoughts coming. Should I post more pictures? Do you think that would help?
  3. Thanks to both havanaholly and Sable. I have browsed EBay a number of times and nothing quite fits. I also had one antique dealer suggest that they might be Middle Eastern. Hoping somebody has some firm knowledge on them.
  4. Hello! I've been to a number of antique shops and no one can tell me anything about this toy furniture. Hoping someone can help me out, as I'm trying to clear out my mother's store room and don't want to dispose of items having some value to collectors. I have a number of pieces of furniture from chairs to couch, dresser, table, etc. I think they are made from tin as they bend easily and can be soldered (as there are a number of repairs). They look like they've been stamped out (similar to tin ceilings I've seen). There is no company info stamped or placed on the flat parts, so I'm baffled just like the antique dealers. The cushions on the chairs are plush and some items have frilly decorations. At one point, these must have been quite nice items, but they've been well played with. Since I am restricted on image size here, I've uploaded and shared two images on google.
