Hi, thought I had introduced myself already. Now that I am retired, I have more time (but less money) to finally work on a dollhouse. I got a good deal on a Newport kit thru Home Depot of all places. I live in Albuquerque, NM. I have fair construction skills from remodeling a Victorian house, but this will be a new challenge.

HI. I'm a new member and the Newport is my 1st dollhouse. I'm not too worried about the not perfect siding because its supposed to look like an old-kind of spooky house on the outside. I'm thinking about adding the addition, or building one myself. I also want to move the stairs,because I think they are in a weird place that makes it hard to have a logical flow of rooms.

Hi, I am a newbie also. Just started on the Newport also. I plan to add the addition to one side and a conservatory to the other.
