  1. I am turning a Primrose kit into an Easter Shop. I got the idea from the April 2004 Dollhouse Miniature mag which featured an Easter Shop in a roombox. I have ordered Easter minis form the Belara Beach dollar sale and have won several ebay auctions from ebay uk. I just need a few sunny days to inspire me out of the winter funk. I don't have a digital camera but will borrow one to upload finished photos when it is completed.
  2. How does one make a miniature bag of flour? I want to make a baking scene with flour, roller and bowl.I am not sure how to make the flour bag.If I get a photo of a flour bag how do I reduce it to 1/12th scale?Any ideas/tutorials on doing paper mini food packages would be greatly appreciated. Carrie,Canada
  3. I just cannot get the hang(pardon the pun) of the double hung windows.I don't understand the directions nor can I see from the picture on the box how to do it.Help!-this is the last thing I need to do as everything else is done.
  4. I have finished the exterior of my Orchid dollhouse.I painted it grey with dark blue and fuschia coloured trim.I don't have a digital camera. If one of my kids comes over I will try to get them to snap a photo with their camera phone.I am pleased with the house so far.Now on to the interioir. It is to be a christmas house inside and out.Wish me luck!I will keep you posted on the progress.I have five uncompleted houses. My goal is to finish two this year.So far so good.
  5. Your work is inspiring .Thanks for sharing.I always get new ideas when viewing what others have accomplished.
  6. I have been working on my Orchid for two weeks. It is assembled.I just finished the cedar shingling today. All the trim is painted.I have bought all the wallpaper, carpet and furniture.I am making it a Xmas house.I found a Mr. and Mrs.Claus at a second hand store with a resin couch. They will look great in the house. At my mini club meeting in November we made armchairs covered in xmas fabric.I am so happy to have stopped procrastinating and getting on with my project.I have recently started buying minis on ebay.I have won auctions around the world.Since I am on a limited budget I have to research and choose carefully what I bid on.It is loads of fun watching the bidding and getting the email that I have won.I won an Arthur on this site this past year and a month ago I won three miniature kits from the Craftpack Company in the UK.
  7. Me again-is there free shipping to Canadians because shipping costs were added to my order and as stated previously I'm not sure went through.
  8. I also forgot to ask-if we order the arbor is that our entry or is there a contest form to fill out?
  9. I tried to order the kit and pay by paypal. After I entered all my details the link just went back to an unfilled form.now I don't know if my order went through or not.
  10. Thanks everyone, I will let you know what goodies they send me.The company makes DIY kits-eg.hats,boudoir items, clothing, etc. It is a nice web site to che

  12. Last month I joined the newsletter for The CraftpackCompany.co.uk.They emailed me today to tell me that I had won 15 pounds worth of miniatures. What a nice xmas surprise!I think that works out to about $35.00 in our dollars ;) .Yah
