    Sunflower

Thank you! The center is a faux suede paper with a slight marble effect to it too. Got some of this ages ago for making books but never really liked the feel then as it was a bit to stiff to get the details I wanted in the book covers
  7. Got the punch in the mail today and had to try out and compare with the earlier ones.
  8. Thank you! It was a LOT of fun painting the purple ons with mixed of chalks for those variagated effects
  9. Eagerly awaiting to get the hole punch (Fingers crossed it comes on Friday) meanwhile I re-discovered a few punches and used them for the Dark green varieté. Look forward to see how those Will work in the flower pots along with the Sunflower as the flowers for the hacienda. Now I only have a few more Cacti to make from fimo and then I just might have to Call it Done...
  10. So, just put inga away after a mini-iing weekend including making flowers, this time Sunflower S, all in all half a dozen of them are Now awaiting the middle parts as well as leaves. Like the look of them so far
  11. Well, Now I have some ideas to try out, going to make the Brown "middle" slightly larger as well. I found a piece of faux suede paper I used for making books that I used for the ones earlier. But when I have beeneyeing them today while making the rest I do Think the center ought to be slightly larger so Will try that on a few.
  12. True and O see what you mean too, the ones i have in the back yard have a slight fuzz to them, sort of like Tomatoe plant leaves still the saw tooth edge to them too. Interesting!
  13. We do indeed Benefit from the Gulf stream, I live in the very southerm parts of Sweden, about on hour drive to the bridge connection Denmark and Sweden and half an hour to the western coast. Since Sweden is so elongated there are very big difference from South to North so to speak, way up north there are so. Much colder as well as amount of snow, northernlight etc yet it only takes 1,5-2 hours to fly up there. Crazy really that there is such a difference in such "small" space which the poor weather forecasters all tell their stories of.
  14. Impressive amount of snow! Over here as I live in the southerm parts of Sweden it is green, snow drops are in Bloom as ar ethe crocus. It is still cold and chilly during night and in the early morning hours, but there is spring around the corner, not just sure which corner....
  15. Borrowed pic of the "fuzziniess" feel
  16. Never seen those before in colours, Looks interesting and something I Will look for as those can have LOTs of uses! Thank you Hmmm, felt do indeed come close to what might be needed, Will see what I have around allready to play around with. Thank you both for the ideas, need to ponder and have a "trial and error" session
  17. Well, figured some Sunflower would work too in the hacienda, just tried out making half a dozen, Now to figure texture, sizes and shapes for the leaves as well as I want them to have that "fuzzy" look
