  1. Hi! Weird question, but I am desperately searching for the manual of the Willowcrest Dollhouse and I saw that you got it in 2021 hehe! Do you still have it. I can’t find it anywhere! Greeting from Holland!
  2. Hi everyone! I got a used Willowcrest that I would like to rehab to be at least somewhat sturdy and playable -- on a budget of course. It looks like whoever built it used hot glue everywhere, so that ought to make disassembly a little easier. I've started removing the shingles and some flooring. I don't think I like the chimney -- it doesn't connect to any of the fireplaces and I'm not sure how I would make it so. I'm also interested in the bash I've read about where the upper staircase faces the other way so it's playable. That would disrupt the winding path from the lower staircase but I don't think I would mind that. I haven't figured out how to add all the pictures, but I have a public Facebook album here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10225128796469135&type=3
  3. Hi Susan. The rooms aren’t very big in the Willowcrest. I’ll try and post a pic. There used to be a really useful room measurement guide on moreminis@blogspot but she has removed them. I have this (hoping I can upload it), a plan I drew of the floorplan, I think taken from the measurements on that blog. The schematics won’t help with size or layout.
  4. Are people allowed to request schematics if they have not yet bought a house? I ask because my husband is raising doubts about the size of the house i *want*, & I am willing to shift gears down to a Willowcrest, but I would like to see if things I have for the house I had planned will fit into it *before* I buy it. I see that people who have actually *bought* the kit are having difficulty getting answers, so I rather assumed that I would be stiffed entirely.... Thanking you all in advance for any answers you can give me.
  5. Hi! I'm sorry for double posting but yet I had no luck. I still don't have the schematics drawings for my willowcrest ;_; I mailed Greenleaf 2 times for this issue, called them yesterday (probably the gentleman freaked out with the spaniard way of raise the voice when you want to be understood even if you are not bothered in any way ), but still don't have it (busy times?) One user was kind enough to contact me but for any reason (maybe time, big pdf or so) she couldn't get it to me Pleeeeease can someone send it to me? I could find the instructions or warm up sheet on the internet but not the schematics ;_; *Desperates in spanish* Thank youuu
  6. I am so EXCITED! I got my Willowcrest!! I have been waiting for this. I bought this before my Emerson Row and it just came but now everyone knows why I was not gonna start the ER right away. I was getting worried that something would happen and I wouldn't get this. I had seen it on ebay and had been outbid in the last 7 seconds. I was so upset because I don't see these that often but then aweek or so later I saw it again and this time I got it and for about $60 less than the first one went for!! You can't beat that. This was THE house I have been wanting for so long! Now the only other house I can think of to get that I couldn't live with out is the Highland by Artply(anyone wanna sell one??) :jumping: :Jumpy: I just discovered your only allowed so many smileys on here, but hey This is BIG NEWS! It needed all the smileys!!
  7. From the album: Random tidbits

This is a glow up of an older cheaper piece that was originally plain wood veneer. I painted in chalk paint then added details on that. The paper is William Morris print from Temu and the tassels were in the clearance ben at Michaels. This piece will be in my willowcrest once I build it! Starting that kit after vacation so I’m not distracted 😜 houses sit too heavy on my mind when they’re in progress and I want to have mental space free for other fun stuff!
  8. Me too!! I want to get home and restock the shop then it’s willowcrest time! I’ve been collecting and am already loving this house! We took a quick vacation to Alaska and I saw some cool roofs and corbels- took pics for mini inspiration! 🤗
  9. This is a fantastic piece! I can’t wait for you to start the Willowcrest.

    Whitney Tiffani build #5

I was going to start the Pierce this week (intimidating!) when I found this kit for $10!!! So, a fun easy project. It will be an English garden cottage update- it’s done on 6/20/2023! Almost all homemade and I love it! Next up is the willowcrest and I cannot wait!
  11. Hi all! Hoping you can help me. My kit was missing the 2nd floor upper stair stringer. I've spoken with greenleaf. It was missed on the sheet and they were working on figuring out but I hadn't heard back. So... I cannot put in the 2nd floor stairs and decided to simply omit them, go with more 2nd floor space, and do a nice railing the whole way across the 3rd floor (saw someone else did this and it turned out lovely). So the problem is that although the instructions say that the 2nd floor stairs are optional, it doesn't say what to do about the interesting new gap between the two bathroom walls on the right side of the bathroom doorway if you omit the the stair wall. Anyone done this or have any advice or ideas? I've thought about taking the wall I am omitting and cutting the floor tab off on the bottom and just cutting to fit but wondering what others recommend. Thanks! Tabby
  12. I had a Willowcrest and spent several years trying to noodle a way to enlarge it while not ruining its lines. I wound up finding it a new home.
  13. I did, too! I've wanted one for years. I've done hours and hours of research in order to plan the changes that I want to make and to see what other people have done. I created a Facebook page in order to share all of this info. Please join if you are interested! Its called Greenleaf Willowcrest Dollhouse Fans.
  14. Congratulations!!!! This is such an interesting house. I can't wait to see what you do with it. I'm climbing on board your Willowcrest wagon right now!
  15. I'll be excited with you, check out Deb's Willowcrest:
  16. I’d love to see photos of any of these kits that have been modified slightly. I’m not sure I’m up for a huge bash but they are around the side I’m needing and hope to build a small one first then move to one of these I’m really a farmhouse kind of girl so I was thinking the Jefferson might be easier to put a porch on and make look like a 100 year old farmhouse but I love all three and would like to see yours. the Fairfield is also a favorite but it doesn’t come in 1” scale correct?
  17. Hi! I just unpackaged my new Willowcrest kit and I discovered some sheets look pretty old and in a bad shape .. but worst of it is that it doesn't come with the schematics page. Does anyone have this schematics? What can I do if I find a sheet I can't really work with? Thank you very much
  18. my name is mark! i'm 21 and from southeast michigan. i'm currently an incoming college freshman, majoring in fisheries & wildlife, and i've loved miniatures just about as long as i can remember. i had friends with kit dollhouses (the burning childhood jealousy lingers), and always adored the miniature displays at the henry ford museum and the art institute of chicago, so i was delighted to receive my willowcrest for christmas in 2019, which i spent most of may 2020 putting together. i've been in and out of peeping through the forums for the past 2 to 3 years as i worked my way through my willowcrest (which remains tragically uncompleted!!!! moved to an apartment and it couldn't come with ). never struggled too bad, as the house was built without any major ideas of what i wanted out of it. however, i just ordered my first rgt kit (the 1:24 colonial), and now i am certain i'm going to need help finding resources and building my own miniatures, so i finally decided to join the community! i'm very excited to get to know everybody better, and am eager to hear the advice of more experienced miniaturists! my included picture is my willowcrest more or less as it stands now. it has some more shingles, but that's about all i've added!
  19. I bought a partially built Willowcrest. Unfortunately the main roof cornice is missing. Does anyone know if I can order a missing piece in Europe? (Netherlands). Alternatively I thought of using the cornice trim to replace the missing piece. Can someone who built a Willowcrest tell me if that is a viable option? Thank you.
  20. I sold my Willowcrest a couple of months ago, the instructions went with it.
  21. Hi, I do have the assembly instructions for the Willowcrest. If you let me have your email address I will forward them to you.😊
  22. @madtex1967If you still have the Willowcrest assembly instructions, I'd be immensely grateful to get them. I just got a used kit with nothing to guide my way.
  23. Was anyone able to get the Willowcrest instructions and, if so, would you send them to me? I just got one but the instructions are missing.
