There is no fireplace to warm up the place up here, so the wood stove , piped into the chimney, (a pencil sharpener, really) will do just fine. -

Logs were scavenged from sticks in the driveway and broken to size. This clock fits on the mantle! In the back, beyond the stairs is the entryway. There is a blue "pew" chair to sit upon and put on and remove shoes! Pillows on couch were hand made from leftover materials. -

Perfect place for an artist to get away from it all and work in peace. We have the easel, canvas and chair. So where did all their supplies get to? The shelves are waiting to be filled up! -

Yes, I know the screen door should be on the OUTSIDE, but it has recently been procurred, and the door was already in place. But we love it non-the-less! -

Photo on the mantle is an ancestor of my father, Jim Henry. I beleive his grandfather on his mom's side. I like that mom wanted "material" sticking out of one of the drawers for realism. -

The corner shelf is one of mom's favorites. The tiny house on it certianly is! The small blue paperweight on the bottome shelf she made using a wood stop, a blue paint pen and nail art (jewels for fingernails.) -

mom had purchased a 1/2 scale fern kit. This was quick to assemble and the front porch in the plant stand was the perfect place for it! -
