Hi! I'm trying to find a 1:144 scale georgian dollhouse kit Cynthia Howe offered a couple of years ago - if you or anyone you know bought one feeling ambitious and then decided that 1:144 scale wasn't for them or you'll just never get around to putting it together for whatever reason - I would be *very* interested in buying it!! Here's a link to what they look like. http://cynthiahoweminiatures.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=139_150&products_id=1422 - Luci

I started working on the Kit several weeks ago as a gift for a friend. It's the 1:144 scale LaserTech Log Cabin Lodge. I've used masking tape here to hold the loose pieces back in the sheet after removing them for dry fitting. Painting while the pieces are in the sheet is easiest.© DAL Minis

The lights were not part of the kit, nor of the planning, so I had to design this myself. I had thought I could run the wires down the sides of the chimneys but that wasn't very feasible. So I drilled holes to run the wires through the wall.© Checkmouse

The wires are hidden under the vine climbing the wall, and the little white dot at the bottom is the switch for the lights. The base has an opening on this side to access the battery. The trees and shrubs distract from the electrical stuff.© checkmouse

From here on out I had to keep the wires clipped so they wouldn't get ruined.© checkmouse

I painted the edges of the wood to match the house, painted the back all red, mounted it on a small stand, and put it in the 1:144 scale "Art Gallery".© checkmouse

I'm making a centerpiece for an online Micro-mini convention - This is a sheet of those free address labels, with pictures of bird houses. I stuck the label to a piece of balsa wood and carefully trimmed around it with an Exacto knife.© checkmouse
