Tiny Monet painting reproduction and readable books…
Lips posted a gallery image in Members' Gallery
From the album: Miniatures "Things" I've made
My thing is replicating the life size stuff I’ve made or a favorite thing I enjoy having into miniatures. A couple years ago I started painting again…after 50 years….lol…I’ve discovered a talent for painting reproductions and now have my Monets covering my walls…including my dollhouses walls… -
Hi, I am currently working on my first dollhouse. It is an Alison Jr. I am hoping to handpaint and illustrate my own wallpaper and am not sure where to start. What paper is recommended? Also wondering if a seal, specific glue is required. I was hoping to make individual entire wall sized paintings (probably with watercolour paint) that will mount to the walls as wallpaper (and won't fade over time).

The walls of the sugar shack and shop are both hung with artwork relating to the long history of the maple-sugaring tradition. This piece is a print of a very old Québec painting showing outdoor sugaring over a cauldron, the old-fashioned way.-

Hi everyone! I recently finished up this Picasso- A Dream for a commissioned work, and I'd like to show it! =) I have a question for fellow miniature artists- I seem to have trouble making sales in my store. I've had a couple commission requests, but I'd like sales in my store as well. Do you guys have more luck selling things on ebay than etsy? Or somewhere else? Are my prices too high/low? I feel like with the difficulty level of the paintings they're fair but perhaps I'm wrong? Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Nika

Hi everyone! I have an etsy store where I sell hand-painted miniatures of works by famous artists like Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso and others (as well as some original work). I also take requests for paintings if there's a specific one you'd like that's not in the store. All of the paintings are hand-painted by me one 2inx2in canvas, and are one of a kind. It would be great if you would check it out! https://www.etsy.com/shop/nikatimedesigns Thank you! Nika

I love having original art in my dollhouses, its so special. If anyone else feels this way too, you might check out the huge amount of wonderful art cards available on Etsy or ebay, etc. They are usually very affordable and would be a great way to add original art to your dollhouse! Usually the sizes are around 2.5 by 3.5 which would be large~ish for us, but would work as a focal point over a fireplace or on a large wall. ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals. Heres a sample of what Im talking about: http://www.etsy.com/...search_type=all
