From the album: Cloudbound
Bath pieces are all made from basswood scraps. I'm still not that happy with how the shower turned out - it just doesn't seem to 'fit like a glove' anywhere. But its removable so I can always just take it out. The light fixture is once again a ceiling light purchased on eBay ($15?) that I glued little antlers onto. -

One more view. I hope to find a little robe to hang from the antler of the white deer head on the wall that I intended to use as a 'hook'. -
From the album: Greenleaf Pierce
Pierce potential bath layout. Looks pretty blah so far. I'm not set on the mirror, it might be too fancy. It might look better painted white. It might be too small. I'm open to suggestions on filling this space. -
Just got this in my email box this morning and remembering discussions about making toilets, I thought it might come in handy for someone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vz-tkLjkK-8&list=TLARwd8KDHdw0xMzAyMjAxNg

From the album: Miniatures "Things" I've made
I got on Utube and found a tuitorial for making real miniature bandaids... that dime doesn't help much to see the actually size of these things....cuz they are teeny tiny! Not hard to make but time consuming. Here's the link... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSvJmhAECjs -
The Steam Clean Steampunk Necessary

From the album: Steampunk

Here you go! The ultimate in convenience. Steam adjustment knobs on the left, pressure selection on the right and built in fan for noxious odors. A little tricky to flush as you have to dodge the fan blades, but it is first generation. Enjoy!

© Debra A. Morin

From the album: Lisa's Country Cottage Kit
I finally did some work on the expanded bathroom for my Country Cottage kit. I used glue dots to place some of my Chrysnbon minis and also put some of my coupon minis in just to see how it all looks. I need to finish my medicine cabinet because the mirror looks kind of lonely just sitting there. I like it, but I still think there is too much white in this picture!!! I'm hoping adding a shower curtain will help. Any ideas on how to make one and what color I should use? -
And now for your viewing pleasure, Captain Morin's (that's me) amazing Steampunk Doozy of a Jacuzzi!

From the album: Steampunk

This went through a few different versions, but settled on this one. I had used the faucets and drain on other projects so had to come up with my own. No gears or chains on this one, but the tub will make up for it! LOL!

© Debra A. Morin

The Steampunk Summerhouse now has a proper bathroom sink. Kudos to the Chrysnbon Bathroom kit! Other pieces are on the way.....

Does anyone here have experience using this product? http://miniaturedesigns.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=12_281&sort=20a&page=1 I'm particularly interested in the "faux-marble" tiles. I'm not convinced they look that much like marble, but I've been wanting a really gleaming blue/green/aqua glass tile effect for my tub/shower surround, and so far this looks closest to it. Most of the colours come in 3/8 inch, which seems about like the right scale for bathroom walls to me. I thought I might buy 2-3 colours in the blue/green/aqua shades and mix them up. There are threads of glittery gold running through them, which would totally work for what I have in mind. And apparently they're 1/16 inch and made of acrylic, so wouldn't add a lot of thickness or weight to my walls, and supposedly aren't too hard to cut. That said, these things aren't cheap, and I'd really prefer to see a photo of them actually in use somewhere, and understand better how they are placed/spaced/grouted (or not) before making a purchase. I've scoured the internet but can't seem to find much in the way of pictures of them in use, and I haven't been able to find any reference to them on this forum. Thanks! Emily

Finally got my hands on the cherry blossom bath accessories and the bathtub caddy by Reutter Porzellan. I have been wanting these for a long time, since they share the same cherry blossom pattern as the rest of the Garfield chinaware. Read more at: http://thegarfieldblog.blogspot.com -

I have bought the Chrysnbon Bathroom Accessories kit. Beside the toilet, you can see the toilet paper holder and plunger. I also painted the hot water bottle a dull red, but since I don't have bathroom shelves yet, I didn't know where to put it. Read more at: http://thegarfieldblog.blogspot.com -

Hello, Forum! I am a new miniaturist, and bought a Realife Miniatures Heritage Series Wooden Bathroom Kit (#197) on eBay. Unfortunately, it has no instruction booklet. Does anyone have this kit's instructions they might be willing to share? I would, of course, be happy to pay for a copy of them. Thanks for looking. I'm a bit lost without the directions! Kate

The bathroom is still unfinished. I've added wainscoting, trim, and fixtures. Still need to make curtains, decide on the fixture and furniture arrangement, then hang the mirror and add the other accessories. -

From the album: Country House - Renovated
This is how the bathroom looks today with all its accessories. The corner cabinet was a nice find, as it was perfect in size and for what I had in mind. Yellow is often a harder color to work with than pink, which is much more popular for a dollhouse bathroom. I was absolutely thrilled to find yellow toilet paper! -

To the right of the stairwell is the bathroom where Heather is checking to see if there are enough clean towels. Prior to the renovations, the bathroom was in the extented part of the larger room, which was the master bedroom. If you look through the door way, the bathroom used to be where the windows are. The bathroom porcelain is Reutter's French Rose pattern, which is discontinued. Fortunately, I was able to locate it in Nancy's Dollhouse & Minatures in Florida. This pattern matches the tea set in the living room. As you may have guessed, I really like the French Rose design.
