So awhile ago my chinchilla escaped and chewed up a bunch of wallpaper in my Alexandria. I was working on it today touching up a few things and trying to get the front stairs in since I never did. Anyway, for some reason, I can't get them to fit and I accidentally broke the piece the stairs go behind.. sigh.. now I have to glue 3 pieces of the front of the house back together.. I got up to go wash glue off of my hands after gluing and taping these pieces back together, and when I came back I tripped over my cat and wham! right down on my knee and my elbow. I felt my leg land on some part of her but she won't let me check her. Also during the gluing, I must have leaned down to far and now I have glue in my hair. What a perfect night lol That's it for tonight missy! Just sit there and dry and think about what you've done! lol

From the album: Little Miniature Things I'm Crafting
This is a tiny needle felted cat made from undyed corriedale wool. I would say she is 1:12 scale. She measures .1.75" curled head to tail and is 1.5" front to back. She has embroidered eyes and nose and whiskers made from horsehair. I placed her on a 2" x 3" rug I made from a my hand dyed yarn, single crocheted in a chain then hand stitched in an oval to resemble a braided rug.- 4 comments

The original Holly Hobbie was a cat lover, and my Holly is true to her namesake. So when she asked for this stuffed animal, Grandpa bought it for her. Now if the cat were real, I would have to buy it a miniature litter box, but now I am off the hook. Holly named her cat Socks because it looks like the cat Chelsea Clinton had in the White House when her father was president. The family must be Democrats because both Fala and Socks were named after pets owned by Democratic first families. In any event, Holly and her cat are inseparable. -
