I'm looking for some claw-foot legs for chairs. I've seen the typical cabriole legs on different sites but I'm looking for nice carved claw feet legs. Any ideas? I've tried doing a little carving to the cabriole legs but I'd really rather have the real thing.... Thanks

I made this cute little cane chair using toothpicks, sponges for the cushions and navy fabric. The palm is a kit from SDK Miniatures. The little vase I found online and will make a little wooden stand for it. Lounge room pieces are coming together!- 7 comments

From the album: Steampunk
I heard a noise in the craft room and found Lady Rebecca in the middle of a pile of paint bottles and brushes humming "glue some gears on it, call it steampunk...." She was working on a chair for the bath. Captain Morin was telling her, "but it doesn't do anything...." She put down her brush and stated, "It doesn't have to do anything, I just want somewhere to sit in the bathroom where there isn't a chance of having something scalded!"© Debra A. Morin

From the album: My Latest Mini Finds
I bought about 20 of these d. Anne Ruff kits. They are various styles. I wish she still did some of these as they are pretty popular at shows and online. Unfortunately she only sells the Pretty Pleater and some cornices on Etsy.© © 2014 All About Miniatures, LLC

I'm trying to cover a sofa in leather. Has anyone successfully upholstered with leather without having lumps from turning the edges under?

From the album: A Few Other Things
I got this half scale lasercut Savonarola chair kit from SDK Miniatures. It's exquisitely detailed and comes with a separate gluing jig that must be assembled first. This is a *new* product on their website and I fell in love with it for my half scale lighthouse, which is next up on my construction calendar. It is pricy and more than I usually will pay for a furniture kit, but it is exactly what I envision for the lighthouse.- 4 comments

I like how this chair and dresser match. I also love the desk. -

Thanks to all those who have helped search for this particular out-of-stock loveseat. Mo finally found it from Country Store Miniatures in Vancouver, Washington. Apparently, this was a popular item at one time, but it is rare to see upholstered arm chairs, loveseats, and couches with wood on the arms. That seems true in the full-sized world as well. - I am so happy she found it!
