Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone is familiar with these 1:12 dollhouse miniature furniture items or the brand of Lillbo. They say made in Sweden. I can hardly find anything online or on ebay to compare them with. Looks like it will let me attach a small photo of the packaging for one of them (I don't have the authority to create albums here just yet :)) Some of the light fixtures say 4 volt. Other items are red polka dot lamp stands and ceiling fixtures. If anyone knows about or can help point me in the right direction to find old catalogs of closed down miniatures manufacturers, I'd much appreciate it. I hope to update this thread as I come across more info.

Heirlooms Dollhouse Miniatures & Dolls Located in the Historic District! Aurora Oregon What a whirlwind of craziness it's been around here! Here is a bit of what's new..... I am thrilled to announce that Mike Clarizio's magnificent Chandeliers and table lamps are here! If you want the finest gold plated Swarovski Crystal Chandelier for your Dollhouse, these are exquisite. The table lamps are beautiful too! I admit I went a little crazy at an auction, I'll let all the pictures speak for themselves. If you see anything your interested in PM me, give me a description and I'm sure we can make a deal. Decorating for the Holidays in Aurora is a big deal. I am doing my best with all the spare time I have...haha Thanksgiving weekend is open house in every shop here in town. If you live in the area come visit and have some hot cider and a cookie or 2! I have had people give me a bad time (jokingly) that I don't post often enough. I promise to try harder. When you wear every hat it doesn't leave much time. I was even a full day late for the time change...talk about confusing! There is never a time that I just sit. Even in the evening I may pop in a movie, but there is a tray on my lap. Sorting, research and pricing until I fall asleep. You should see the boxes of my own projects. I keep saying I will take a Wendy day and play.... I have the bookeeping, cleaning....can you imagine the dust in a house built in 1904 with a furnace that's as old as the hills! It's got a huge antique floor grate and I swear I see the dust bunnies waving hello as they fly by! I also study. There is so much to learn about miniatures and Dollhouses (of course my vintage and antique Dolls too) I wonder if people know how far back in history they go? The famous people who have had and thoes who do still share our passion? I wish all thoes mini walls could talk! I am also always taking notes as I I remember something, learn something new or hear a story from a customer. With all my memories from my childhood and thoes as an adult, I plan on putting them into a book one day. It's funny, just in this last year 4 people have asked if I have one out or have said I need to. Who knows, maybe one day. I am still looking for help in the shop. I have a fellow collector that comes in when she can, but I want at least 1 or 2 more. Part time, once in awhile... I'm easy! My friend Jim is coming to help the first part of December. He is "that" Jim Larson builder of the famous Ship...The Miniscule in the shop and a 100 other pieces of his art. He says he has to come and fix my front counter...it's not as high as the cabinet next to it and it's making him crazy! He is fun to have around and customers love to talk to him about his art. Well, now that I have chatted till your crazy I'll close for now. I'll be back soon, promise! Enjoy all the pictures!! Your mini friend, Wendy Hmmmm...for some reason I'm not having luck attaching any pictures. I do have them all posted on the shops facebook page.https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1384079495029573&id=1218761951561329

I think one of the reasons I fell in love with dollhouses a year ago was the miniature chandeliers. I want to create my own. I have all the tools I need. I have the socket bulbs, the hollow brass tubing (all cut and shaped into arms), I have the solder gun and solder, I have all the little brass do dads and findings, the crystals, and I even bought a electroplating gold kit so all the parts would match (although I may like the brass looking vintage, will play and see, still a fun tool to have I think). Anyway. It's down to the wire It's time to do this. I need advice on connecting all those wires - I've got six candle sockets, so twelve wires. Now dollhouse wiring isn't like in real life where you have to figure out what's hot and what's neutral, right, I feel so silly asking. I'm thinking I'll take one of each of the wires from each socket, strip it, and solder them together. Then I'd do that for the remaining 6, right? Then one of those bundles gets soldered to one separated and stripped wire from the hardwire wire (that's running in the dollhouse to the fixture) and then the other soldered bundle gets wired to the other hardwire wire. Does that cover it? I know I'm probably making this too hard. Have you ever made your own chandelier? How did it work out and do you have any extra tips?

This is the "gold" chandelier I made for the center room (or office, or room with a desk, not sure yet) -
From the album: My First Dollhouse - Beacon Hill
This one was done with the mini candles and mini flames. We used brass tubing for the arms (don't ask me how its all staying together!) This one was a doozie! 12 chords are going into the ceiling.... First and last Grand Chandelier for me, I do love it though! -

Chandelier with paint and nail polish I used.
Debra from Olde Cape Cod posted a gallery image in Members' Gallery
From the album: Canterbury

This is the metallic paint I used. Had to used multiple, multiple coats to get it to look like this. Then used two coats of the sparkly nail polish--you can't see it very well in the picture, I may add a third coat....
-

The plasterwork on the ceiling roses is magnificent. The plaster was mixed with horsehair for strength. This chandelier is in the master bedroom. Note the colored ceiling.© 2014 Katherine Bennett

The two on the left are part of the same earring. The big one left pins into the ear, and the one dangling from the chain gets draped over the back of the ear to hang fetchingly on the neckline. This one was more pricey, but has real crystals dangling from the jhumkas. The next one has pink crystals inside the cage and pink crystals dangling from below. Will make a pretty chandelier for a ladies parlour or bedroom. The one on the right is slightly different from the jhumkas in Set 1, but it was good to stock up! Next time I go, hopefully they will have some gold ones in stock.© Lene Pieters

Modeled by my daughter Shannon, these earrings are all quite large. The one in the middle is one and a half inches across. They are perfect round domes - so will look good from any angle. Since I am not electrifying my houses, these are perfect little chandeliers. Cost is about $12 per set for earrings = 2 jhumkas, makes 2 light fittings - good value for money!© Lene Pieters

For my Garfield, I don't want to electrify it but I do still want to put little lights in each room. Other than the glue option, could I use jewelry flat-pin wires? If I drilled a tiny hole in the ceiling/floor panel, then inserted the pin from the top - then bend the bottom into a little hook shape - would it be strong enough to hold a light fitting? I'm thinking that I could then do the floor covering for the upper floor and conceal the pin head. Does anyone have a better suggestion? Obviously this is an important step, especially with the bottom front corner room that will become inaccessible once the wall is up. Gosh, so many things to consider for each step of construction - I hope I'm not missing out on anything practical!

The light looked so neato through the large front window (mine is a window not a door) but of course what you see in rl never really shows up that great in a picture so I got a little dramatic with it;-) -

In the pictures this chandy looks like its over the seating area, but it isnt, its directly over the stairwell, thats why it hangs a little on the low side, its kind of lighting up that dark area. Its so pretty:-)-
