  1. From the album: Room Boxes, Etc.

I've been working on some new details for my Christmas Gift Box vignette....added lights to the tree, added a faux window, some photos on the walls (yes, that's my fam from last Christmas!) and an adorable little Nativity set!
  2. From the album: Room Boxes, Etc.

These were gifts for my daughters for Christmas this year! When they were growing up we always had an enormous tree-usually 10-14 ft and once the girls moved away from home, they never had a big tree like that again. SO...I decided to make these mini vignettes as a kind of reminder of those days. However, their lanterns include their current furbabies!

    Lantern for DD#1

From the album: Room Boxes, Etc.

These were gifts for my daughters for Christmas this year! When they were growing up we always had an enormous tree-usually 10-14 ft and once the girls moved away from home, they never had a big tree like that again. SO...I decided to make these mini vignettes as a kind of reminder of those days. However, their lanterns include their current furbabies! This lantern is for my oldest daughter - and you can see her two Maine Coons-Buzz and Bean- atop the pile o' gifts!
  4. From the album: Country House - Album 2

This little tree was perfect for the hallway.

    Vintage Boxes

    From the album: Mosie's Room

Maureen purchased these vintage boxes at a miniature show, and they really add to the overall appeal of the era and holiday. - I also think the pull ring on the shade came out nice.

    Another Angle

    From the album: Mosie's Room

When Maureen first started decorating her room box, I thought this little Christmas tree she had would look cute in the corner by the window, and Mo proved me right.

    Tree Lighting

From the album: Country House - Renovated

Since my house isn't electrified, I never thought I would be able to have regular lights, let alone lights on a Christmas tree. Thanks to battery operated miniature lights, however, I fortunately am able to have both. The lights on this tree are a battery-operated necklace sold at Target. The chain was a gift from the girls' friend Angi.
  8. From the album: Country House - Renovated

The stockings were hung by the chimney with canes, hoping St. Nicholas wouldn't complain. Barbara Hill made these personalized stockings for the girls, and I also purchased the fireplace from her. At first I wasn't going to purchase the stockings as I didn't want to drive spikes through the fireplace to hang them. Fortunately, my friend Ann thought of hanging them by one of the stocking canes, and that seems to be working well.
  9. From the album: Country House - Renovated

The lights on this little tree are bright but add a peaceful effect at night.
