From the album: DIY Miniatures
I don't know if there is a certain way to do these but here is my process. I painted rice paper with a wash of soft green. Once dried I used a pencil to draw out leaves. I used water color paints to start a two step process with a teeny tiny paintbrush. once this all dries I'm going to coat it with one coat of Matt mod Podge.- 1 comment

I received my solder tool but don't know how to use it yet. But that is not going to stop me from creating furniture pieces for my dollhouse. For all you industrial lovers out there, here are industrial kitchen stools that are very on trend. Hopefully I can pull this off. Follow along if you want similar decor- 3 comments

From the album: DIY Miniatures
It's not going to be the most beautiful bed but it will work. At a later date I will make myself a really nice iron bed. This is more for spacing to see how the room will lay out with the bed in there and for sizing. im making a quick mattress, also for sizing. I'm not so much about the mattress. I'm all about the bedding. for the quick mattress, I measure for size and cut three layers of foam board and glued them together. I took a tip from a tutorial posted on these forums too. I used three layers of very thin batting (I actually cut it out of a old tree skirt). I measured of the batting and cut them to size. The top third layer was long enough to wrap over sides. I then grabbed a new light weight thermal (old Yogawear stock) and cut that to size for covering. Did a few pi tuck stitches too. Believe me, this is quick and not really exact. I had finished the headboard grill last night and finished gluing this morning.- 1 comment
