Made some door handles today with jewelry findings from Hobby Lobby! Trimmed eyelets off the ends of "base", drilled a tiny hole in the center, bent o-rings to the shape of the handle, hammered one end flat, drilled a tiny hole in the flat end... push-pin through handle hole, small brass bead, then through base. Trimmed the pushpin and glued it up! I did have to put a spot of glue between the handle and the bead to keep it horizontal. -

These handles are made from the same (RL) specialty picture-hanging nails that were used, when spray-painted a plasticky white, for bottlecaps on many of the maple syrup bottles and jugs inside, in the shop's stock. Lovely multitaskers, these things. -
This may seem silly, but I need to order all the necessary parts for my dollhouse in one go, as the shipping to Dubai is too high to order bits and pieces every month. Does the Garfield come with door handles for the doors? If not, how many doors are there in total? How many inner doors? How many external doors? I've seen some lovely door handles and would need to order enough of the same style for the whole house. Also, would you recommend the little door handles be glued on or put in with 1/8 pins? Any advice would be appreciated! Lene
