The doorway trim pieces provided with my McKinley are rather plain, and not to scale anyway. So I got out my 3-D printer and designed some custom molding that looks more like the real thing. Each piece is customized to the exact size of each doorway and slips right over the raw unfinished doorway edge. No tools required. I'm pretty happy with the result. From the album: Spring Fling 2012
This is why I called it The Lanterns. The lanterns are made out of large translucent pink beads and some old bronze coloured jewellery findings. They were very easy to make once I had a design in my head. The tiles in the porch are by a seller called Toolshed22 on Ebay. They are beautiful and very intricate.© Jo Medvenics 2012

Hello All! After much frustration and 3 houses later, I found an easy way to hinge the door of my Orchid so it will be able to stand up to play. Alter this for yourself as you wish. The pictures and instructions can be found in my gallery.
